It was a huge mistake to buy a flimsy shoe rack for $11 from Walmart. It was complete garbage and hardly worked. With an extra bit of money I could get something a little more sturdy, so I spent a little more on that. There is a rather small box in which this rack arrived. I think it's around 12" x 18" x 6", and it weighs about 5 pounds The weight of this puppy is seven My own concern was that I might have bought another piece of garbage since the more things that have to be fitted together, the less sturdy the item Although the quality was quite surprising to me, I appreciated it. The shelves are composed of two pieces that snap together using a metal ball that can be pressed down on one end and pops back into a hole on the other. I find the fit to be very tight. A very thick metal screw is used to screw each shelf into the side ends, and those screws are surprisingly snug because of how thick they are. The material is solid, even if I pick it up on one end and shake it a little. The joints that are connected are different than those on cheaper racks that start turning and twisting when you pick it up at one end. Shoes aren't the only thing this rack can hold it can hold other items as well. At the moment, some 5 gallon buckets in which I keep my car washing supplies are on top of my walk-in closet's shelves with all my shoes on the bottom 3 shelves below.

It has a lot of space! A 4- and a 5- There are tiers of units stacked on top of each other. It was exactly what I was looking for. The heels are placed over the grate openings, since they slide through at the heel of the shoe. I love you!.
