In a nutshell My expectations of this hat washer were not really high before I purchased There was a strong smell of wet, dirty gym socks lurking inside the car when my hat was on. figured I would either have to buy another hat for $30 to replace my nasty hat, or I would throw the hat away if it got ruined. I had finally broken in my everyday hat, so I was willing to risk losing it. A hat washer is being used to wash the hat. Taking my badly-soiled, disgusting hat, I placed it on the bottom plastic piece of the hat washer so it faced up. Having wanted something like this to clean some of my family's favorite caps for years, I finally got it. I have solved the problem with this. For the air to settle, it may take a few days It's a good idea to dry the cap to keep it from shrinking.

I found it to be cheap and flimsy, and it broke when I used it for the first time. The pieces were then damaged and get wedged into the lining of the door and have to be scraped. Thanks to the excellent repair work done on my washing machine, I didn't suffer any long term damage.

The shirt remained intact after being washed, not opening up or crumpling. You can put a hat of any size in the hat pockets and the snaps stay shut. As I have a small head (apparently), I had to loosen the back strap so it would fit on the hat rack, but that's not an issue. savvy as some other commenters and their dishwasher tricks, but I was able to get my hat nicely clean after washing it in my regular old washing machine with a regular load of laundry and drying it by hanging it on a hanger the next day. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

It is the second time I have used this product, and I followed the instructions to the letter. During the washing cycle it shredded my New Era ball cap and completely destroyed it. There is still a lot I need to do to recover both of my losses, so I am waiting to hear from this company.

It is about 1 minute to spray a hat with sweat marks etc. (spray and wash) then you can throw it in the dishwasher and it is brand new. It was a little difficult for me to dry them in the cage because the bill of my hats bend a little differently, but I managed.
