Place the rack where you'd like it to go. Make sure it's straight by using a level. Mark the holes with a pencil or a pen. Drill the holes where you marked them and screw it in place. Use the plastic sleeves if you are installing into drywall.
About 14 inches in length. I have enough room for all of my ties, as well as three belts, on it. It appeals to me because it is straightforward but effective. I taped it to the back of my closet door so that they are visible when I open it to change.
They're fairly smooth, but the hooks' upward slant helps to keep things in place. But I'm not sure because I don't use it for ties.
2 belt holders at each end that can also be used as a tie holder I hope this answers your question.

This is what I bought to use as a necklace hanger. It's fantastic!! I had been on the lookout for the perfect item, and this fit the bill!.
They are extremely durable and of high quality. I hung all of my spaghetti strap tank tops on one, and all of my necklaces, bangles, and even rings on the other, on the wall of my closet. They are my favorite. It's simple to keep everything in order, and nothing gets lost. If I needed to, I'd purchase these again.
Three of these were purchased by me. I'm getting two of these for my husband's birthday. I have a growing collection of ties, as well as one for my jewelry. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on it, and I've shared the link with a few of his coworkers who really liked it. You may be wondering how they viewed it. So, in order for the rest of the world to see my awesome handiness and organizational prowess, I had to post it on FaceBook. br>br>The two tie racks are shown mounted in the photo. Although I should have mounted the top one about 6 inches higher, it will do for the time being until I can get some new anchors. Two anchors and two screws are included with the tie rack's hardware. The anchors are of a good standard. As I pounded them against the wall, they didn't get all bent up and start falling apart. This is, obviously, a problem I've encountered with some of these low-cost anchors. If you're tired of picking up ties in every nook and cranny of your home, this tie rack is a must-have. My husband enjoys it as well because he can now see all of his ties without having to waste time looking for them.
Some ties are wider than the arm, covering portions of the angled portion of the arm and causing silk tie scrunching, as shown by yellow bracket lines atop photos. br>br>At this point, I have three different Rubbermaid tie racks. This one, which is obscenely overburdened; their attachment to a wireframe tube; one that requires two screws to secure to the wall, and another that does not. Only the wireframe tube and the screw mount have arms that are sufficiently wide. even for tying multiple ties to the same arm
- This tierack's arms are shaped like a hockey stick. br>br>- More ties (more rods) are required. br>- Even with one tie per rod, some toe mid points are too wide for a non-angled rodbr>br>* rod coating is uniformbr>br> easily mounted with nailsbr> silk ties don't cling to rod coatingbr>br> can fit several on backside of closet door, can fit two spaced vertically on an interior wall (presupposes [small] viking stature)br>br> If that's the case, a stylish box may be more appropriate than a tie rack.
This is an item that I really like. ClosetMaid's products appear to be made with great care. br>I now own five of them (I'm a tie connoisseur). In fact, I'm so confident in the quality of this product that I'm comfortable hanging ties worth more than $100 without fear of them getting snagged. Sure, it has a "basic" appearance and is only available in white, but for the price, it's hard to beat. If you're looking for a reliable source of information, you've come to the right place. If you're looking for a well-made, practical product to hang your ties, hats, belts, scarves, and other accessories, you can't go wrong with this product. Granted, the space openings between each hanger point are rather narrow, but that's because it's intended use is more for ties than thicker clothing accessories, etc. br>I gave this four stars instead of five stars because I RARELY give 5-star reviews. stars. A five-star rating is, in my opinion, the highest possible. A 4-represents 20% more overall value than a 4-represents more overall value than a 4-represents more overall star, and as a result this product is approximately 80% "liked", only because its appearance isn that exciting (but again, one must consider the price and what they are paying It's just that there are a lot of junkier items on the market that will cost you more and risk snagging your ties).
This rack was exactly what I was looking for. On top of my dresser, I had a knotted pile of necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. Everything is now organized and accessible. I looked at other jewelry racks, but this one appealed to me the most because of its simple design and affordable price. It also comes with mounting screws. The pegs are long enough to hold several items, and the two rows are staggered to keep items separate. My husband hangs his neckties on a similar rack.
I have a lot of ties, and the ties racks I've had either stacked them on top of each other, making it difficult to remove and replace them, or were those battery-operated rotating units that take up hanger space. I bought two of these and strung them across my closet door in a neat line. Now I can see all of my ties at a glance and take them off and put them back on the rack with ease. Hardware is included for installation. You can either screw it directly into the surface or drill an anchor hole, depending on what you're mounting it to. Mine is attached to a solid wood cross piece on the door, and all it took was a little drilling to get the screws started. This is unquestionably a useful item.
This is adequate for the task at hand. br>br>I got mine in a standard padded envelope with a few bent prongs. I was able to easily bend them back, but keep in mind that the prongs are about as strong as a wire hanger. br>br>It holds ties perfectly, and I didn't have the width problem that one of the other reviewers did. When I folded my ties over the prongs, they were all the same width. When I pulled out one of the ties, it didn't knock off the rest of the ties. This isn't the rack for you if you want to hang a lot of belts. To do so effectively, the prongs are too close together. As a result, you must either twist them to the side or use two prongs per prong. The ability to use the top set of prongs is effectively eliminated in both methods. The larger side hooks can each hold a few belts, but if you hang multiples on one hook, you'll have to remove them all to get to the bottom one. br>br>This works great for storing a bunch of ties and a few belts, and it's a great price. Other light and narrow hanging items (jewelry, race medals, etc. ) would probably work just as well.
