It only goes on the left side; if you don't have a choice, install track on the wall; however, make sure you can side it in later.

Belt holder that is very sturdy and well-engineered! In just a few minutes, I was able to put it together with the help of a screwdriver and a small level. The finish, however, had several nicks and dings right out of the sealed package. For that, I deducted a star.

I didn't use the slide feature, but it appears to be functional

I simply screwed the front portion to the wall. Because I'm not going to use it in a closet, I didn't want it to move. It looks fantastic.

After reversing the slide and shimming it with washers because we have an edge on the inside of our closet, my husband was able to install these in about 10 minutes. It has deep hooks, so I can hang two things on it. There are three belts on. They have a solid feel to them and a true bronze color.

It's a great product that's simple to set up

This is extremely effective. It was simple to put together, even with the disassembly required to make it work in the "wrong" direction. It took about 5 minutes to install and is completely functional.
