The baskets are 8" wide, and the frame's widest point is 9" in the middle. The baskets are the same width as the frame on top and bottom. To support the top basket, the frame is slightly angled forward. Overall, they are undetectable, and they can hold a lot of weight and are extremely durable.

The unit is simple to put together. I purchased two for storage under the sink. The storage capacity has been increased by a factor of two. It keeps everything in order. Because these are attached to the frame, the top will easily tip when you pull it out. I simply added to my back weight. This hasn't been an issue or an inconvenience, and I'd buy it again.
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. These are incredible. My refrigerator is a side-by-side, and I swear there was never enough space in there. Everything seemed to be stacked on top of each other, and getting to something in the back was a major pain. That is no longer the case. This is the third set I've ordered. I was able to fit two of them on the shelves side by side. I kept two sets together and used a single container side by side instead of doubling up on the third set. My refrigerator is now the most well-organized I've ever seen. I can get to whatever I need without having to take everything out or stacking things on top of each other. They glide smoothly and appear to be even more durable than I had anticipated.
I'm a big fan of these bins. They're well-made and simple to put together. I just went out and bought two more for my daughter's bathroom. I'm extremely happy.
This was one of those things that I really wanted to enjoy. However, the metal piece that holds the top shelf in place was far too large, and it kept slipping out, causing the top shelf to fall. In addition, I thought the drawers could only be 1/4-full. Because they didn't slide as easily if they were only half full. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations, but if I have shelves, I'm going to fill them - That's the point, in my opinion. I really wanted this to work out, but I couldn't seem to get it to do what I wanted.

I wish this product came with more dividers. br>3) Assembly isn't as simple as some of the other reviews claim. It took a long time to get it right and the instructions aren’t 100% flowing now’t 100% now now now now now now now now now now now now now now now% br>4) I don't think I could get this item for less than $5. br>So, if you can get it somewhere else, don't waste your money; if you can't, the product will suffice until then.
It's simple to put together, but if you put too much weight on top, the shelf will fall down if you pull it out too far. Just be cautious.
In retrospect, this appears to be a little pricey. It gets the job done, despite the fact that the top shelf slides laterally, which is clearly not intended. It was a strange design decision that made the whole thing feel less stable. However, the product is so good that I didn't want to send it back.
