They are great LED lights, so there's no reason why I can complain. In choosing Govee led light strips, I mainly liked the fact that they were very convenient, connected, and I could use just one app to control the entire circuit instead of having to use three different ones. Those four are in the picture. As well as these light strips behind my TV's, I have Govee light strips in my car for footwell ambience lighting and one under my center island. I have one more to use still, but I will probably buy a few more for other things. I have a wife who loves me for this, hahahahaha. But there is one BUT the LED strips I have on my TVs can be a little irritating, because the TV remotes seem to control them in weird ways, as well. When you hit the up button on the remote we have, the strips may be off, but if you hit down, they will be on. With the remote, you can turn the strip on and off by hitting the down button. It will do random things like change the color of the strip lights or change their blink patterns if you use other buttons. You may find it a little irritating at times. Since my wife prefers not to wear the strips, she leaves them off. Normally I adjust the light strips after I'm done watching what I'm watching and when I stop looking for what I want to watch. It is difficult to recommend it for use behind the TV because of its unique feature. This is because you will always be pointing the remote directly at the lights every time you use it, and this is not a good thing. The only reason I still give it a 4 star is because of the quality of the light strips and because I love how I can control them through one app.

Since I've never tried a Govee product before, I found their installation experience to be smooth and easy. Here are some good things 1
Once the LED strips and manual control were attached, it was impossible to remove. The adhesive on the strips was very aggressive. Two additional points A USB power adapter from an old Samsung was used to provide power power from the wall, which worked well. 3
3. 2 There is a good variation of light from dim to bright in LED lighting. I was much more satisfied with this LED strip than I had been with similar inexpensive LED strips in the past. There is a lot of saturation in the colors. 5.
With the Android app, Bluetooth connection was straightforward, and the app was easy to set up and use. There are two things wrong My first odor was a very strong solvent odor as soon as I opened the plastic wrapper of the coiled LED strip. It is strong, and I mean it. I like how easy it is to apply them, but they do not stick very well even to flat clean surfaces. I also like the fact that the app on my phone allows me to control them.

They seem bright enough, and I particularly like the flashing to music option. The TV wouldn't stay on with the extension tower plugged into it (plugged into the TV), so I got a usb/extension tower to power them, and they now stay on. The lights have only been on a few days, but so far I'm happy about them. It's still under construction (I'll update if this is a problem).

Our Govee just went on our brand new basement television, and we haven't had any issues with it. It has a remote control. It was my intention to go with a "name brand" in order to have more options Yes, it is brighter than the rest, but are most other levels worse? It's 100% correct. The first thing they did was put awkwardly long "Corners" on, so they had to loop them and tape them away so they would not sag.

Secondly, these lights seem to go out and on every time the power is turned back on. As soon as you switch on the TV, you'll see the lights flash continuously in all sorts of colors. Only one button on the remote controls the "mode," while the music button controls the music. I have a cheap no-name set that has dedicated buttons for each mode, and they don't need to be reset every time. Finally, I can control these lights from different TV remotes in the game room. As soon as I click the "Right" button, my lights change. After pressing the "Up" button, the lights go out. It's really ridiculous that they've made this happen by coding to the remote of one of the most popular TV brands. At the end of the day, I think they both look nice, but the corners leave a "Dead Spot" It is also unacceptable to lose settings on shutdown, as well as integrate remote control and coding. The ones that respond to TV colors don't need a bigger budget, so I'm glad I did not spend the hefty amount. As a result of their sponsorship of an episode of a show I like, I have learned to be more careful when buying stuff In fact, I have had no problem with my cheap ones so far.

This type of tape sticks on super well and is very durable. The report had been re-evaluated While installing, I adjusted one section a few times. My initial concern was that I would have to use the clips or tape to keep it in place, but the strip has stayed in place without a hitch. Govee is already an app we have. A seamless process was followed to add the additional product. As opposed to scrolling for the item name, I have found it easiest to "search" for the first few digits of the item number when adding new devices. There are 3 people in our household with the govee app, so it is easy to use by everyone. I highly recommend this company due to the fantastic products that have been offered to us. To give as gifts during this Christmas season, I also purchased a few more Govee light kits.
