Wires already run to the dimmer are already installed on the strip. Although this dimming device works well, its dimmest setting is brighter than some people would prefer. It is important to note, however, that this does NOT work with a standard This has to do with the way LEDs work as opposed to incandescent bulbs. A dimmer switch changes the voltage sent to an incandescent bulb so that it matches the voltage received from the circuit. There is less light when the voltage is lower. The LEDs, however, operate at a constant voltage (12V, in this case), and their brightness is controlled by circuitry that switches the constant voltage on and off many times each An indicator of how much time is put into switching voltage on compared to how much time is in it off. When the voltage is off for a certain period of time, the LED dims. Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is what this is called and you won't find it on your normal dimmer. And if you're wondering about dimmable LED bulbs that you can use in your house lights, those have electronic components inside the bases that can dim the bulbs. The house lights operate on 120V AC, while your LED light runs on 5V or 12V DC, so the light is forced to convert 120V AC to a lower DC voltage. Basically they add just a little more circuitry to detect whether the AC voltage has fallen to 80V (for instance). Therefore, the converter is still supplying 5 and 12 volts as necessary for the LED, but adds PWM to "dim" the LED inside the converter.
Light is not 5mm, but 8mm, so any two-pin connector with the same thread size will work with it. Your mistake might be that you don't understand the length of the tape, which is 5m long. Colorful lights are 10mm in diameter with four pins, while single color lights are 8mm with two pins.
I agree that it's a perfect size and that it works better than expected. Also, on one of them, there was no need for as many cables and we cut them and it still worked well.
Measures 9 cm. It is suitable to use the 2 pins of the normal strip light connectors.

There is nothing like this roll. It is holding in place without any issues due to the sticky back side. With the help of these, I created a mirror for my wife, who loves it. In that event, I discovered that they sell corner adapters with a 90 degree angle. When it's on, you can't tell when it's on since I just bent it around the bend. A dimmer is also a nice addition.
Because the adhesive is strong, I am hopeful that it will stay It was provided with clips, which I expect will allow the cords to be tacked to the wall to prevent the light strips from being pulled by the cords. The company has five divisions A total of six brightness settings are available. Whenever you need to apply makeup and fix your hair, use the dimmest setting After that, it's only going to get brighter! As you can see in my photos, they were dimmest and most decayed Turn the light settings to the brightest possible. The quality is excellent. Everything works as it should. I am not disappointed at all! As I saw in some reviews, I put on a mirror with a white frame, and it doesn't seem to look odd at all when lights are off. It may be the white frame that makes all the difference time. Would, and probably will, buy.
Having ordered these kinds of strip LED lights a second time in the past few months, I was delighted. I ordered them from a different seller because the first ones I received were thick and dark. This new set is thinner, brighter, and easier The additional part I ordered was too short, and when I reached out to the seller, they offered me a new part at no charge for an extra part (which I had intended to pay for). Thank you for your service! They are definitely a vendor I will order from Please accept my thanks for doing business with us.
Additionally, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish the entire first project with one roll of film. Fortunately, I used the first roll for the first project and had Installing was a simple process of peeling the tape off and sticking it to It was a pain to deal with the connectors I purchased from another seller because they barely fit and made it more difficult. Instead of soldering to the light strip, I should have connected the wire directly to it. After only a few days of installation, they have added a pleasant highlight to my kitchen, as well as a light for my counter. It is hoped they will last for.
I recommend using double sided tape to reinforce the tabs. You will need a second person to help you with installation. You can cut the tape and it will still light up
Video is at a dim level and the picture is at max.
The closet I had was shallow, with only two doors, and there was very little light in it. In the first photo, it can almost be impossible for you to see anything in that closet, as you can see I wear primarily black. Those lights were attached underneath the shelf that hangs above the clothing rod, and they were further connected to the outlet by a wire ran around the closet door and out. Additionally, I'm going to remove the regular tape that comes with the remote and attach it to the doorframe using some command tape (see photo), as I'm worried the regular tape will peel the paint off According to other reviews, the clips that come with the kit don't hold it up, so I tried buying some screw in clips to hold up the LED strip, but the clips were too big (the LED strip is very thin) and I just ended up using clear tape for the most part. I will probably buy some other clips or maybe just put some more command tape on.
When I made two small faux windows for my garage, I used four feet of these light strips and they were perfect. I used shadowbox frames, window film, outlet timers, and these strip lights, and they turned out beautifully. The lights are responsible for an IMPORTANT portion of this. *Note These were made and installed over four months ago, and they have been running for at least four hours a day (they are on timers), and there have been no issues since going up! *Pros 1
It is great when there is adhesion. Having several options prepared for keeping the strips in place once inside the shadowbox, I didn't need to resort to any of them since the strips stuck to themselves and wouldn't let go! Two additional points I'd like to emphasize that they are very In fact, they were brighter than I expected them to be. For this project I had planned to add a reflective surface to the back wall of the shadowbox to increase the brightness, but after installing the lights I realized that it wasn't necessary! 3
3. 2 A DIMMER! As a result, this was a happy bonus and one that proved The light in one of the "windows" will only turn on at daybreak and automatically shut off after a few minutes. On its brightest setting, the second wakes you up in thirty minutes. We are pleased with how it has turned out! There's a fairly subtle difference in brightness from lowest to highest (see photos and video), but it's nice to have the choice. 5.
My only objection to the price was the quality. I was impressed with the price after receiving them and seeing the quality. The cons are 1
There are absolutely no cons to this product. While I would have liked the dimmer to dim down much lower (to a setting that is almost like a nightlight), I certainly do not take it as a drawback. "In a perfect world," that's all you can hope for. Please take note of the following 1
This is not the first time I have used strips this size. I did not trim the lights, so I am unable to speak to how well they work after cutting or how easy or difficult it is to cut the strips. 2 - )
A slide dimmer does not exist in this model. Here is a picture that compares the highest and lowest brightness settings, whereas the video shows it starting at maximum brightness, decreasing to the lowest and then increasing again to return to maximum). There is not much of a difference in output, but it is nice to have the option. The bottom line is Don't get too excited if it's dimmable - but be realistic if that's your only reason!.
They are bright and colorful as all get out. My wife and I are in love with these four different parts of my home and will buy many more of them in the future.
