I've had mine for two years and can't tell the difference between the vinyl and the real thing in the Florida sun. This one has made me very happy!
I wouldn't recommend using it to hang pots, but you could give it a shot.
Stainless steel number 304
Yes, but you'll have to purchase it from Home Depot.

Plan ahead of time to ensure that the correct parts are ordered. I'm glad I did some research on the product's reviews and questions because I saw rope lights on sale and bought two strings (96') without knowing how to install them. br>br>Based on the reviews and product information, I determined that ordering a kit like this one was more cost effective than purchasing individual pieces. for the components that are required Second, because the support cable and hardware will be exposed to the elements 365 days a year, I learned to buy everything in stainless steel. For the winter, the light strings will be taken down and stored inside. I bought some Wilbond stainless mini s-hooks to help with the taking down and putting up. My lights have a small tab with a hole at each bulb, so I bought hooks (of course, from Amazon) to use to hang them from the support wire. I crimped down one side of the S after inserting it into the tab. The other side of the S was slightly crimped, allowing it to fit over the wire while remaining narrow enough to prevent minor light movement in the wind. As a result, they're simple to remove and replace as the seasons change. br>br>Sketch out your layout before ordering, keeping in mind that the start of the light string(s) should be close to your power source. It's also a good idea to have a switch for turning on and off the lights. Plugging and unplugging will wear out the lights' plug and the electric receptacle if there is no switch. br>br>The next few paragraphs describe how I laid out and installed the support wire; if you're already familiar with how to construct a plan, you can skip ahead. br>br>I needed to draw a rectangular area in my plan. So, at each of the four corners, I started with strong screw eyes. I chose the corner with the least amount of visibility for the power supply cord and attached two turnbuckles to the screw eye on that corner. Then, every 7-inch intervals, I installed the "hump screws" along each side of the rectangle, between the corners. 8 feet. The wire was then strung around the perimeter, passing through the screw eyes and hump screws, with the ends meeting in the corner closest to the power source. Finally, each end of the wire was threaded through the turnbuckle's closed screw, clamped with a rope clamp, and the open screw of the turnbuckle was hooked to the screw eye in that corner. br>br>As you install the turnbuckles, you'll have to use your wits to figure out the best way to remove the slack from the support wire. This should be done before attaching the turnbuckle to the second end of the wire; a second person will come in handy at this point. I did it all by myself, using the rope clamps that were left over in each corner. Secure one end of the wire to its turnbuckle, then move "upstream" to the next screw eye, pull the wire taut, and secure a rope clamp to the wire on the "upstream" side of the screw eye. The clamp keeps the wire from slipping back "downstream" as it becomes slack. Carry on with the next two corners in the same manner. Attach the turnbuckle to the second end of the wire and use it to take the slack out of the last section of wire. Finally, remove the three rope clamps you used at the other corners as a temporary measure. Finally, I'd like to point out that your pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing condition pre-exist The locations of screw eyes, hump screws, turnbuckles, and clamps will determine which of the many hardware packages you should choose; I didn't plan in detail. I had a mental strategy in mind, and this package seemed to fit the bill. It didn't quite work out that way. I had an extra turnbuckle, three snap hooks, and ten rope clamps, but I needed to purchase more hump screws. br>br>Please tap the "helpful" button below the review if you found this rating and my construction advice helpful. The globe lights suspended from the ceiling (Edison style lights) are quite heavy. In this photo, the span is approximately 90 feet (two light sets of 48 feet each). I'm glad I got the suspension kit, which was recommended by Amazon (and is commonly sold together). I wasn't sure the wire would hold up, but it clearly does. With the evening winds, it was strung between two trees. The buckle on another set, which was made of much thicker wire, slipped. This type of buckle is very effective. I've included a photo of how I clammed the wire to prevent it from slipping. The other type of clamp (U-shaped) is used for a variety of applications. clamp) is a style in which everything is held together by the same force. This kit came with more components than I needed, which I will save for a future project. br>However, I did add "S" hooks to allow for easy disassembly of my lights. re- In the event of a tropical storm or hurricane, people will gather. This product is superior to others. br>br> I've been a Prime shopper for a long time, and this is my second review. Get a suspension kit if you want to make a hanging light set. Get this Litcher Globe Light Suspension Kit if you don't want to deal with glass shards because your suspension kit failed. It is superior to the previous standard.
I used a painters tarp for the heavy drape and curtain clips to hold it in place. The clips run the length of the line and are now used to support a wind chime and other decorations. He had everything he needed in the kit, and he packed it extremely tightly. You can sew some ties onto the back and tie it to the rails to keep the cloth from blowing away. I was not asked to write a review or given a discount for doing so. This is 100% a true and honest review. On Amazon, this kit was the cheapest and, in my opinion, the best. What a fantastic housewarming or birthday present! We'll be using it in our backyard to hold string lights now that we've seen how sturdy it is! For outdoor use, always use coated wire (such as this):.
Installing can be done by anyone, even a nurse. It is well-made. Heavy-duty construction. I am a 40-year-old woman who was able to hang curtains in my pavilion to make my hot tub area more comfortable. The wire is sturdy enough to hold the curtains in place without sagging. I am not a mechanic; I am a nurse. As a result, there was a lot of trial and error during the installation. The most important lesson I learned was to keep the turnbuckle open while tightening the wire. After that, tighten the turnbuckle. Of course, this may seem obvious to some, but it took me a while to figure out. So, open the turnbuckle, secure the anchors, install the wire, and cut the wire to the required length (leave some extra). Install the clamps to hold the wire in place (you'll need it when making adjustments). Turnbuckle should be tightened. It's that easy. It's well-made. There's also 150 feet of wire to contend with! You can't beat that at this price. At my local hardware store, just the wire cost 0 dollars. Per foot, the price is $99 It's completely insane. I paid a lot less than that for the entire set. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
A set of tension turnbuckle hooks and a set of snap hook carabiners were supposed to be included in this kit. Neither of them was included. Rather than what was on the included postcard (as well as the item listing), only pictures were included. This is now completely useless unless you go to the hardware store (which is not recommended) or get a replacement kit mailed to you. So much for this weekend's hanging of my light kit! Nothing to thank you for!.
The quality is excellent, and the holding strength is far superior to my expectations.
This string will come in handy around my home and in the garden. It's dependable and serves my needs well. I like it and will purchase it again.
