From a 10-foot distance, the remote works well. If you have a clear line of sight with the sensor, you can extend it to 15 feet.
A tension rod and some ribbon: wrap the tension rod with the ribbon first, then the lights, and it looks lovely.
Yes, that is possible. There are no batteries required because the device has a cord that can be plugged into an outlet. I used it for an outdoor party and left it there.
Is a transformer required or will it work with a standard universal outlet plug?

Terrible, I ordered a second time, and this time it doesn't work, it's BROKEN! That item will never be ordered again.
I just installed these on Friday, and they're just blinking now, with no way to change the settings! The remote isn't working, and the lights aren't working! It's a waste of money:.
Only half of the lights on the string were activated. I was ecstatic to finally be able to hang them up, and I was ecstatic to finally be able to do so The other row is no longer alive. br>br>It's frustrating because I spent a long time looking for the right set from a seller who had a good reputation. I'll contact the seller to see if they can be replaced. I don't want to deal with it because it's so inconvenient.
They brought my room to completion!.
wall. In general, the lights are very appealing - They look lovely on, despite the fact that they emit a warm yellow light rather than the "warm white" described in the description. Rather than white, I prefer their warm yellow tone. It has a more intimate feel to it. I was also relieved to discover that the cord is a relatively clear plastic, rather than an opaque white or frost, because I was concerned about how they'd look strung on the wall when turned off. the unambiguous When they aren't shining, the ish cord keeps them from being an eyesore. The power cord is also a good length - They made it easy to position them wherever I wanted without the use of an extension cord, but they have one major flaw that caused me to give them four stars instead of five: The little black controller box's position and appearance. There's no way to position it without making it unsightly because it's attached to the top support strand of the lights by a very short cord. It's a large black box that hangs just above the midpoint of the ceiling. Without breaking the strand's wiring, it cannot be removed from the wall. I'm perplexed as to why they didn't realize most people wouldn't want a black box hanging on their wall and why the cord was so short - It requires additional length in order to reach the floor and be hidden. Additionally, to get to "Always On," you must cycle through all of the motion settings. It's an annoyance, but it's not a major issue. I'm hoping that by purchasing an extension strand, I'll be able to move that box into a better position.
This is not a "curtain," but rather a series of lights strung together. I expected to receive a sheer white curtain with embedded lights because all of the photos clearly show a curtain with lights attached. That wasn't the case at all.
One disadvantage is that changing the volume on my fire tv cube with the remote can cause the light settings to change. I'm guessing it's the infrared signal. The remote is in excellent condition. It looks fantastic. Sorry for the shaky video and camera work; however, the settings are visible.
I ordered these after a friend recommended them to me, and I really liked them at first. There are eight light settings and four brightness levels, and the remote control works well (though you must aim it at the control box). br>br>However, on my first night with them, I noticed that even after turning off the lights, the LEDs continued to emit a faint glow that didn't go away until I unplugged the outlet. To me, this means that not only are the lights constantly drawing power, but they also can't be fully turned off with the remote control.
