Grommets on the back allow for easy hanging. The fabric has a canvas look to it and appears to be weather resistant. Mine will be placed near my front door in a covered outdoor space. Great quality for a low price; I'll most likely purchase more to decorate other areas, including possibly the interior. This purchase has made me extremely happy.
This was received and was of good size, but one of the soldiers had mold spots on it. I had to toss that one out, leaving me with only one.
