I found exactly what I was looking for. I've always wanted a pair of life-size nutcrackers, but they're out of my price range at $300-400. This was a fantastic compromise, and one with which I am very pleased. The faces on these are lovely, and unlike the others, they don't have the "angry teeth" that are supposed to make them look like real nutcrackers, but instead make them look sinister. I can't comment on durability because I've only just hung them, but the material appears to be nice and waterproof. The colors are vibrant, and the banner is legible even at a distance. I used command adhesive hooks to hang them and just used duck tape on the bottom of the underside because I wasn't going to poke holes in the stucko for these. You could probably get away with command adhesive strips instead. br>Recent changes: The duck tape failed to hold the banners in place, and they flew away! I was able to locate both of them and used mounting tape to reinstall them. It appears that this method is effective.

I used extra long heavy duty zip ties at the top to attach three of the banners to three round porch posts. bottom. br>All three banners were able to withstand the recent high winds, which averaged 15 miles per hour. 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour. 40 mph. The center post took a significant amount of punishment. To walk up and down the posts, I occasionally had to shimmy up and down the zip tie caused by the winds. br>br>There were no signs of damage whatsoever when I took them down today! br>br>Next year, instead of using 1/2-inch velcro cinch straps, I'll use four 1/2-inch velcro cinch straps per side to keep them from flapping in the wind. br>br>I'm very happy with the price, and I like the way it looks. the product's long-term durability.

These are incredibly adorable. We live on a hill with a lot of wind, so we get a lot of it. Because of the anchor holes at the bottom, they stayed put. A wonderful addition to your Christmas decorations!.

My only issue is that one has a longer top ribbon than the other, so when they're hung at the same height, they're not the same length, but there's nothing I can do about it.

These Christmas decorations were put to good use! Many people stopped to look at the full-size Nutcrackers because they were so bright and colorful. If properly cared for, they will last for many years and are simple to roll and store. These were not disappointing, even though I live in a high-wind area.
