It was a fantastic concept, but it was executed horribly. This nutcracker appears to be extremely low-cost and mass-produced. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of quality. I expected a much better product for the price, especially since the material was all freyed and had strings hanging from it. The head had fallen off the body, which was clearly not supposed to happen. The paint job is bad, and there are visible gaps between the bottom of the leg and the shoes where it was attached. The video quality is terrible.
She's so remarkable that she'll be remembered long after the doors have been closed. For my sister's birthday, I placed an order right away. Beyond description! We both use Courtly Check (Mackenzie's child), so she'll blend in perfectly and steal the show! Mackenzie, I apologize! a work of art!br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br I had been hesitant to purchase because of the numerous reports of damage, including shipping. She's a giant! When I first opened the door, I was nervous and held my breath. I had a lot of anxiety. She was, however, perfectly packed and wrapped! FLAWLESS! Thank you so much for creating such a lovely work of art!.
The only issue I had with it was that her head had become unattached when I received it, but a little wood glue fixed it right up. I contacted customer service and they immediately made things right for me, and I understand that things happen in the shipping process that are beyond our control. This nutcracker is absolutely adorable, and aside from the shipping mishap, it is well-made and detailed.
I'm not sure if it's worth the money, but I bought it as a gift for my daughter, who has a nutcracker collection. It's worth it for me because I know she'll be overjoyed to receive it. Last year, I bought the Queen of Hearts for her, and instead of putting it away after Christmas like she does with all of her other nutcrackers, she kept it on display all year. Despite the fact that it was a Christmas present, I opened it to make sure everything was in working order after shipping - There's nothing wrong with that. I think this is a fantastic product.
She has a stunning appearance. I'm just not pleased with the placement of the bow. It should've been positioned to the left of her brow. I'm keeping it, but I'm not thrilled with it. When you spend that much money on a nutcracker, you expect it to be flawless!.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, and she absolutely adores it. Even if you are unfamiliar with the story, there is no doubt that this is Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Personally, I believe it is a bit pricey, but she adores it and it brings her joy.
It's well worth the money, and I'm thrilled to be the proud owner of one. Any Alice collector should have it.
