Mine has been on the mantel since Thanksgiving, and there isn't a speck of glitter anywhere near it. Nothing came off when I scrubbed it today. So far, the glitter has remained in place for at least the first year of ownership. The glitter appears to have a good grip on the surface.

This elf nutcracker comes at a reasonable price. Others are nearly double the original size. Because the title contains the word "6 inches," which I found perplexing, I inquired as to how tall it is. I can attest to the fact that it stands 14 inches tall. It is tastefully decorated, rather than being shabbily done. I highly recommend this elf nutcracker for a lovely decoration because it sparkles and makes you smile.
He's extremely adorable. I enjoy adding a nutcracker to my Christmas collection every year. The tiny beer mug isn't staying put. He is flawless in every other way.
