Questions & Answers
While the blanket is shaped like cotton balls, it is solid enough to act as a blanket. It's just over a quarter of an inch high when you look at it on edge.
The material is pretty delicate so once it gets really wet it might look pretty bad, but I haven't tried it outside but considering the material I think it will look pretty bad once it gets wet.
The snow blankets I've seen on Amazon are all so narrow that I don't understand why. Are you planning to put a 15" ornament under your Christmas It would be a lot more efficient if I did not have to measure, cut, and piece together all this stuff. I have one that is Buffalo Snow and it's 4 ft by 10 ft. This is a good size for beneath the trees to display my handpainted buildings over 2 dozen in number. The problem is that I've used it for more than 10 Xmas seasons, and now it's beginning I can't seem to find any snow blankets that won't turn into a craft project by themselves because they are ridiculously long and not wide enough. Do you know if you can buy anything that's a lot wider here on Amazon?
If you wish to take it apart, that is fine.

With this snow, you don't have to worry about Instead of the snow sprinkled on top, I bought this. I'd love to use the snow that's sprinkled on top, but I don't want the mess to clean up. Floating shelves are an excellent use for it.
It was used as part of the xmas decorations. I really like the way it works. Just fluff it up and shape it as you like. I am glad you are happy with it.
The bag worked perfectly for what I needed and the amount of bags that I needed were more than enough. As it comes in a flat sheet, you have to pull it apart in order to fluff it.
When I received the package, it had a CVS barcode that said $3 on it, despite the idea being great. This item was overcharged by 50%, and I could have walked into my local drugstore to purchase it for the same price? It wasn't such a big deal. So much for that, I'll shop at an actual store next time and save some money. You should also be aware that it is kind of (almost) see through, not really a blanket.
It does not resemble snow at all. I took a long strip of transparent cotton and folded it into a flat strip. Listening to the reviews and reading the reviews would have been more beneficial. The time and money spent on this was in vain. It is only possible for me to return this if it hasn't been opened and I will be responsible for the return. How would I know this is a scam had I not opened it?.
In spite of this, it's inexpensive enough only to be used once. In order to place trees and animals on level ground, I poked holes in the batting. Because the stretched batting made mounds of snow around trees, shrubs, and even Tiny Tim and Bob, this worked well. It was fun to make our village and play with this.
A plastic bag was haphazardly stuffed with the product. In this case, it will not lay flat. If it had been rolled up or folded, it would have been fine. It is batting for a quilt, NOT a snow blanket for a Christmas village.
Having used the same snow blanket since the 80's, I still use it today. It might have been the 90s. I keep saying "I need more snow!" every year. In any case, I put everything out anyway, and then I pack it all back up again. Since I am knee deep in Christmas decor, I won't be going to the store for new fake snow when I have just put it up. The brain actually worked this year, since I remembered to put away all the decorations BEFORE pulling out all the ornaments. Since it is cold and nasty outside, I got it easily from Amazon since it is cold and nasty.
