For rainy days, this is a great toy. Both of my children who are almost 5 and almost 3 years old loved them (and so did I). There have been at least 5 hard core snowball fights lasting between 15 and 20 minutes The only injury my husband sustained was when he threw a point our way. I cannot believe I have played for 20 minutes without breaking something. My three year old tried as hard as he could to shoot blanks at his eye from 2 feet away. The sudden explosion of blood was way less intense than anything else getting thrown into an eye.
