We ordered this as a last resort (because we couldn't find anything else). It can be difficult to find a black crib for under $300. It arrived on time and in good condition. Each piece was carefully wrapped in a damaged box. There were all of the pieces, as well as the necessary hardware and instructions. Each piece was lightly covered in "dust" and had some sort of dent, ding, scratch, or paint chipping away when we started pulling out and unwrapping the contents. I'd like to make the following observations: These flaws were not readily apparent, but when you spend 30 minutes putting this product together, they add up. Things are brought to your attention. Overall, the crib was simple to put together, and if you can read, you can do it. This can be completed in 30 minutes or less on your own. The design is simple, modern, and sleek, as well as fairly sturdy, to my surprise. If you're on a tight budget, this crib is a good option; you get what you pay for (imperfections and all).
This crib is stylish and modern. This crib was easy to put together for the most part, but we had some trouble getting the adjustable mattress support base to stretch far enough to bolt on both sides of the crib. We're using the crib for foster kids, and we bought the toddler rail but haven't used it yet. I'm just hoping that when that time comes, we won't have any trouble lowering the mattress support to accommodate a toddler.
The ease with which this project came together astounds me. We had a minor issue putting the mattress support in during assembly. It went in fine on one side, but getting the bolt holes to line up on the other was a struggle, but we eventually got it (I'm not your average assembler - I frequently make my own furniture, and I only bought this instead of making a crib due to a lack of time (it'll be for a foster child). So the misalignment drew my attention, and once we got it put together (probably a 30-minute job if you go slowly), it appeared to be quite sturdy. I was tempted to climb in to see if it worked, but my wife warned me against it because I'm sure I'm way over the weight limit. br>br>The only complaint I have is that it is discolored. At first, I was completely unaware of it. We purchased the white crib, and one of the top rails is yellow. Color is ish. I can't say for sure that it wasn't discolored from the beginning, but I can say that it's unlikely to be sun exposure because it's in a corner away from windows, and the nearest window faces north west, so it doesn't get much direct sunlight during the day. Furthermore, it only affects that one rail, not the spindles beneath it, and not the front rail, which is closer to direct sunlight. Also, it's only been in the room for three weeks, and UV exposure causes discoloration to take much longer. We purchased it on August 24th, and today is September 11th. About a week ago, I became aware of the discoloration. Overall, it's not enough to make me want to take it apart and return it. It does, however, disappoint, and I wish I had given it a closer inspection when it first arrived. If UV exposure is the cause, I would advise the manufacturer to change their epoxy mixture, as it should not have become an issue so quickly.
Overall, it appears to be good value for money. br>However, we have a significant problem with it. We won't be able to secure the mattress support to the bed frame's four corners. br>This is a major problem because we are unable to use the bed in its current state. br>br>update: br>br>update: br>br>update: Finally, by enlarging the screw holes and exerting a lot of force, we were able to fix the mattress support! br>The mattress support installation was an unfortunate experience. Everything else went off without a hitch, and the end result is quite nice.
At first, I thought, "This product is a steal!" Is it possible to combine a changing table and a bed? For the price, the brand was fantastic, and I couldn't wait to have my husband set it up for our soon-to-be-born child. However, due to two missing holes on the sides (where the bed rail would normally be attached), assembly was a nightmare. But, of course, we didn't want to return it because we were almost finished putting it together and our baby was due too soon. Instead, we bought zip ties, which worked fine, but we'd have to improvise again when it came time to turn it into a toddler bed due to the holes that were missing. Also, the rail on the left side of the crib wasn't as sturdy, so we had to retighten it twice; overall, it's a nice crib; however, I wish all of the holes were in place, especially when it comes to baby furniture, where safety and proper installation are critical!.
We are in love with our new baby crib! In the time it took me to feed our daughter her 8 oz. of milk, my husband was able to put together the entire crib/changing table. bottle. Our three-year-old enjoys climbing up the side of the crib to look at and make his younger sister laugh. I like that it's low-profile because our house is a Dutch colonial, so we have a gambrel roofline and slanted ceilings in some of the bedrooms; As a result, this was ideal and could be tucked away against the wall without creating an awkward layout. The changing table's shelves are also extremely sturdy! I've located our two youngest sons (3 and 5) 6) While playing hide and seek, they both hid on them. My only criticism is that I would have preferred a different color.
This isn't something you should buy! Spend a little more and get something nicer. We ordered white and struggled to put it all together, having to cram the mattress base in because the holes didn't line up. We put it all together only to discover that half of the pieces are yellow rather than white, but we can't return it because it's already put together and the box is destroyed. We should have spent a little more money.
This was purchased for the impending arrival of a new baby. I had hoped to purchase it from Wayfair, but it has been sold out for several months. We found it on Amazon and decided to buy it. The dark grey color is one of my favorites. It appears to be in excellent condition. I'm 32 1/2 weeks pregnant and it was fairly simple to put together. The components are extremely light. br>br>The only thing I don't like about it is that the changing pad is very thin, and there aren't many covers for it. It's also not the standard size. As a result, if you're looking for a replacement, it's unlikely to fit. I replaced mine with a different one, which was slightly too big, but it worked out fine. It's not too difficult to deal with.
