It's heavy, beautiful metal that's exactly what I was looking for. It also arrived two days earlier than expected and was well-protected in its packaging. This is an impressive crib, and we have high hopes for it to last for many years. We decided to invest a little more in it after previous bad experiences with other brands and wooden cribs, in the hopes of getting a good deal. br>Crib was simple to put together, appears to be sturdy, and is scratch resistant; the design and color are truly impressive.

This crib is absolutely adorable. As previous reviews have stated. It has a brassy tone to it rather than a gold one. It is lovely. Without using any power tools, I set this up by myself (while pregnant) in less than an hour! Because the box was quite heavy, I had to unload it at the front door and carry each piece into the nursery.
