Questions & Answers
Yes, it is.
If you want to use part of the bed as a headboard for a full size bed, you'll need the bed frame. A bed frame is not required for use as a crib or toddler bed.
Although this one does not include a mattress, Graco offers options that do. However, after reading reviews, it was suggested that you try out the baby mattress before making a purchase. So I bought a mattress in a store and ordered the crib from Amazon, which is the cheapest place to get it. The crib is identical to those sold in stores, but it costs more.
Someone purchased it from our registry, and it arrived in two days.

There could be pieces missing. This is a product I would never buy again. To begin with, there was a printed sheet in the box telling us that if any pieces were missing, we could call a number and the manufacturer would replace them. If that note had to be included, it must occur frequently. A front corner post was missing, as expected - piece 2. We had two 1 pieces instead of one 1 and one 2. It was impossible to put together the crib. I dialed the phone number listed on the pamphlet. After much back and forth, they finally shipped the part, which arrived two weeks later. Two weeks in the house with a half-assembled crib. When the part finally arrived, it was the wrong one: it was a part 1 with a 2 sticker on it, and it was the wrong part. thereby rendering it ineffective Rather than subjecting myself to another futile go-around, I'm making changes to the part. Graco is a fun guy to hang out with.
At 7 a. m. , I assembled it all by myself. Absolutely stunning! Sturdy. At 7 months pregnant, I did it all by myself. The assembly is simple. It has a strong hold on me.
Right now, I'm not overly fond of this crib. br>It's lovely, simple, and timeless- This is exactly what we were looking for in my baby boy's nursery! br>However, my son hadn't even slept in the crib (he'd been sleeping in a bassinet in my room), and the paint on the raining was peeling. br>I attempted to transfer him to the crib a few days ago (he is now 4 months old), and when I took him out of the crib the next morning, he had paint flakes stuck to his head from the crib railing. br>Had I known the paint would flake so easily, I would have applied a sealant to it when I put it together months ago to prevent this. br>br>I would recommend doing that (with a sealant) to anyone looking to buy in the future.
The paint is extremely thin and easily chips! My son is 9 months old and has been sleeping in a pack n' play in our bedroom until recently. This crib was only put to use a week ago. I discovered my son biting on the side rail the first morning he awoke in his crib. It happens all the time. Gray paint chips were all over his mouth and face, which was alarming! The crib has a very thin gray color coating that flakes off easily over oak colored wood. I read that the crib complies with all safety regulations, which makes me hopeful that the paint is non-toxic. toxic. But, because I'm not sure, I'm not going to let my baby sleep in the crib any longer. I was going to return it if we hadn't waited so long to use it! In the meantime, I'm trying to find a cover for the side rails so I can save the crib. Don't squander your money or jeopardize the safety of your child here. Spend a little more money on a higher-quality item!.
Two of the crib's parts were the wrong size; The mattress support did not line up correctly with the pre-drilled holes in the backboard, and there was a 1/2" gap between the frame and the top of the backboard. Because of the drilled holes, I was unable to secure the mattress support with the fourth screw; however, the crib's color and overall quality appear to be nice and durable. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The parts supplier provided free replacements for both of the incorrectly sized parts, and they shipped the parts quickly once the correct parts were identified. the dimensions.
I rarely write reviews, but when I went back to look at this purchase to see how I could turn it into a toddler bed, I decided it was worthwhile. This crib has been in our possession for about a year and a half. It's still very sturdy and in excellent condition after 5 years. It was simple to put together, and the color is beautiful. I'd buy it again if we had more children. There are no issues! This photo was taken only a few minutes ago, and it shows the condition of the item after 13 months of use. We're going to turn it into a toddler bed today!.
When the pieces wouldn't fit together, I contacted customer service, who requested an invoice and photos before assisting me. To fit the latch to the arm that connects the spring support to the crib side, I used vice grips, shims, and a hammer-- To put it all together, it took a lot of sweat and muscle. Finally, after the baby had fallen asleep, we were able to spend some quality time together. His mouth was covered in white chips when he awoke. It's very easy to remove the finish. He devoured it! I'm not going to buy any more Graco baby products.
does not exactly match the image We bought this as a "spare" new crib for our toddler because we're expecting our second child in a few months. First, if you don't mind the overall aesthetics (exposed screws, especially on the front of the crib, and color doesn't match photo (more on this below) or, more likely, long-term durability, this crib is fine. (The wood is quite soft, and the back-to-back-to-back-to-back to-back-to-back-to-back When it arrived, the board molding had been severely dented (see photo). We ordered the "white" version, which appears to be all white, but the backboard paneling (that solid space under the "curved arch") we received is actually a gray color, which looks odd when the rest of the crib is white. We will try to contact the company (NOT Graco - see below) to see if they can replace it. A replacement part for the dented piece will be sent to us by an external manufacturer named "Storkcraft"). We're not going to use the conversion kit for this because I don't like the way it looks. Hopefully, this will only get us to the big-ticket items. The stage of the girl in bed. However, it's difficult to find anything cheaper, so I suppose you get what you pay for. I also assumed that the "GRACO" name would imply a certain level of quality, but if you go to Graco's main site, you'll notice that cribs aren't even listed as a product, indicating that this is clearly some off-brand. shoot that is permitted to make use of a well-known brand.
