What would happen if you put this on a carpet?

It sways back and forth, but it isn't rocking. I'm able to get Baby to sleep because there's enough movement. br>I wish I'd been able to find a glider that looked as good as this one and was as reasonably priced.

If you don't want to use the pillow, can it be flipped back?

No, you won't be able to reverse the pillow.

It's cute, but it's not what I was hoping for

It's a very attractive chair. It's not velvet, in my opinion. It has a polyester corteroy look to it. It's quite cozy, but not quite as cozy as I had hoped. Because it does not glide easily, rocking takes some effort. However, I enjoy it and intend to keep it. I'm 5'5" and it fits me fine, but I wish the base was a little deeper and the chair rocked a little more. When you rock it, it makes an odd grinding sound.

This is not a pleasant experience

Although it is a lovely chair, the comfort and rocking are disappointing. Because the chair's legs are so flat, it barely rocks, so it doesn't perform its primary function. Furthermore, the rocking chair's legs jut out very far in front of us, and we are constantly kicking the wood, which is excruciatingly painful. Unfortunately, it is not worth the money.

Very nice chair comes in a strange box that wouldn't fit through my door, so I had to open it and bring it in pieces, but as soon as I set it up in my nursery, I fell in love. It's so comfortable and has a pillow attached, which you can flip over the back of the chair if you don't want it. . . also, I'm a real person, not a bot.

Construction and comfort are far superior to what I had expected. We would have bought a second one if the price had not increased by about $100 since we purchased the first.
