A solid construction seems to have been used. Your taste and application should lead you to be satisfied if you prefer a natural, informal look. However, I opted not to use them since my application required the stud to be completely removable from the knob, as opposed to the threaded stud held in place by a nut on the knob and attached to the cabinet door/drawer with screws. According to the photos of their order page, I received what I ordered. The problem was that I wasn't paying enough attention.

The knobs are a bit long on the inside of the drawer, but that's not a problem. I bought these at a consignment shop in Asheville, NC and they look great with my Wicker boho nightstands.
