The first thing I noticed when I opened this was that the box of screws was stained and fingerprinted from whoever packaged it. The bench is in a dark brown color. But I rubbed my hand on a piece and the color didn't seem to come off, so I started with the small bench, which I couldn't get to sit flat no matter how hard I tried. Not by a long shot. And I don't have much of a choice because the holes have already been drilled for me. Then I noticed that my fingers were stained in the same way that the box was. I took photos to demonstrate how the legs are angled incorrectly. The bench is made up of three different legs. There's also a photo of the hardware box. I'm returning this because I don't need a wabbley shoe bench that will probably stain my kids' pants when they sit on it to put their shoes on.

For our entryway, we wanted something that was simple but attractive. We changed our expectations to simple, cheap, and "doesn't look too bad" after poring over pages and pages of these with my wife "Ohhing and Ahhing" at a bunch of much more expensive options. There is clearly a market for high-end, elaborate entryway shoe racks - These, on the other hand, are for people with a lot more money than I do, and this one checked all three of our new boxes. PROS: br>br> br>It's a breeze to put together. To be honest, you could probably do it without them. From box- I think I spent about 30 minutes on the build - and that's only half of it With one eye on the prize and the other fixed on the First 48 marathon, I was fully invested. br>br>It doesn't look bad at all - If you've been paying attention, you'll notice that this was one of our requirements. We're not going to get any "What the heck is that?" comments because of the lovely new shoe bench, but we're also not going to get any "What the hell is that?" questions. " either. It's made of plastic (or something similar), but until you get close enough to touch it, it appears to be a lovely dark wood bench. The extra small bench for the kids was a nice addition that gives us some versatility because we can use it for our "guest slippers" bin and make it a two-piece unit. Because the main bench is so low, the kid bench is unlikely to see much use for butts. br>br>Appears to be well-made - There is no give or creaking once everything is put together and tight. Although it appears to be durable, it does appear to be fragile. According to the description, it can support up to 250 pounds. I have my doubts. I have a few well-kept secrets up my sleeve. I've made friends who will push the boundaries, so if they end up on the floor in a heap of shoe rack shambles, I'll let you know. CONS: br>br> br>The height of a person - Even after reading the dimensions and measuring it, I was surprised by how low and small it was once we installed it. For me, it's not a deal breaker. It only serves to keep stinky shoes in place - However, I doubt that many of my grown (older) visitors will be able to get all the way down and back up without difficulty. It's not exactly Smurf-sized, but it's another three-dimensional object. It would have been ideal if it was 4 inches tall. br>br>The cover for the hole- things to stick on - These turned out to be a colossal failure. To begin with, a large number of them had peeled off the backing and were stuck together. Second, I couldn't help but think that if I used them, they'd eventually fall off, leaving us with some covered holes and some exposed, making the bench appear cheap. We decided not to use them at all because we liked the way the bench looked without them. In my opinion, they cause more trouble than they are worth. br>br>Overall, if you want something simple and inexpensive that gets the job done, add this to your cart; if you want a piece of real furniture for your entryway, scroll down.

Wood that is not too expensive. There were also a lot of bolts. The quality is very low. If you don't have a drill, this will take at least 30 acres to hold together. In addition, simply using an Alan wrench to install the screw/bolts caused the wood to split in several places. It's amazing it's still standing after all these years. Because of the splintered and cheap wood, it is wobbly. I'd like to return it, but there's no way I'm going to remove all those screws after spending so much time putting them in. Now I just need to figure out how to get it back to you in its current state. It was a bad decision, and I'm afraid I'm stuck with it now.

If all of the parts and pieces were in place, this piece could serve as a low-cost storage solution (though keep in mind that you get what you pay for). br>br>Right now, my main complaint, which I sincerely want everyone to know, is that the customer service is atrocious. As a result, I would advise you to avoid it. br>br>The small stool that comes with the purchase is shown in the photo. Because two of the legs are eight inches long, it is lopsided. The first leg is 5 inches long, while the other two legs are 9 inches long. 5 inches. The seller has been given this photo, as well as the invoice and purchase information. Despite this, they continue to give me roundabout responses rather than correcting the obvious error. br>br>In addition, the long bench does not sit level, as stated by another reviewer. The difference is approximately 0. One corner leg is 25 inches off the ground. br>br>Best of luck in your search.

This bench appealed to me because it is wider than other benches of comparable price, and the mini pullout bench is ideal for my children. I'm 220 pounds, and it's a comfortable seat for me. The bench was easy to assemble, but it took a long time due to the numerous screws. I suppose the numerous screws are what make it so strong despite its light weight.

The unit is simple to put together. I suppose sturdiness is a good thing. There were simply insufficient stickers to cover the hole, so I decided not to use it. br>To keep it from wobbling, lay it flat on the ground before tightening all the screws.

The packaging was adequate, and there were no broken or missing pieces when they arrived. It was unexpectedly light, but it appears to be quite serious. I didn't use all of the extra hardware that came with it. Overall, the color was pleasing to the eye, and the durability appears to be adequate. I like that it includes an extra stool, which I can keep with the bench or use elsewhere. It took me about an hour to unpack, read the pictogram instructions, and put everything together on my own.
