- - It appears to be appealing. br> br>Sturdybr>- It's incredibly simple to put together. br>br>Cons: It takes about 10 minutes to unpack everything. br>br>
- I initially mistook the legs for metal, but they are actually made of wood and painted black.
- Legs aren't as well-made as the top, but because they're black, the flaws are hard to notice.

It's a great bench, and it's almost identical to the Nelson's except for the price difference. Others inquire as to whether the legs are metal, which they are not. Unless otherwise stated in the ad, they have never been and will never be. ALL WOOD! Whatever you want to use it for, it'll be a very sturdy bench or coffee table. By opting for the reproduction of the Nelson platform bench, I was able to save anywhere from $600 to $700.

It's better as a coffee table than as a bench. br>br>It arrived broken, but once put together, it makes no difference. The beams were split in some places. We just use it as a coffee table ow because it feels very unstable when you sit on it.

These benches were purchased in pairs. They are exquisitely crafted and appear to be extremely fashionable. They're also very stable, not wobbly at all, which was a concern of mine. The bottom legs are an excellent match for the top.

It's not exactly heirloom quality, but it'll do for now. PS- The wooden legs that came with ours were a nice touch.

a list of the metal legs It was made of wood when it arrived. If I may use that word, the item is a little flimsy.
