Questions & Answers

Is it better to use a standby pilot or a spark ignition?

It's never been a problem for me to stand in front of the pilot while it's turned on.

I recently placed an order for this, and it was damaged when it arrived. I'm unsure if I'll place another order. What kind of guarantee do you have?

Hello, there is a one-year warranty on this fireplace.

Is there a temperature control on this fireplace?

The thermostat can be controlled by the remote control. Set the temperature on the remote, and it will turn the fireplace's gas valve on and off.

Is there a view of the back to help me figure out where the gas line is? What is the distance between the wall and the furniture, for example?

When looking at it from the front, it's in the lower right-hand corner. About 6 inches from the wall and 6 inches from the ceiling.

Stunning Gas Fireplace - It'll make you happy! br>br>We received our gas fireplace four days ago
5/5

Before leaving, the delivery agent was courteous and careful with our fireplace, asking us to open the boxes and inspect it. The fireplace arrived in excellent condition. There was plenty of foam and wrapping used, and there was no damage of any kind; nothing was bent, and there was not even a scratch on any part of the wood or painted surfaces, and no parts were missing. Advantages: br>br> br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>In It was very simple to put together. My wife and I took great care in laying out all of the parts and thoroughly reading the instructions. It took us about 3 hours to complete the assembly from start to finish, and all of the parts were perfectly aligned. It came with an allen wrench that was compatible with all of the screws used to put the wooden case together. The only other tool required was a two-phillips screwdriver for the screws that held the metal hood to the fireplace. Simply follow the instructions to put the imitation logs together. br>br>Installation: br>br>Installation: br>br>Install The stove is already set up to run on Propane. We have Natural Gas, and switching from LPG to NG is simple if you carefully follow the instructions. Make sure you don't overdo it. Because the regulator is aluminum and can be damaged, tighten the included brass fitting that screws into the regulator. The brass fitting has a black gasket that seals when tightened but not too much. After the igniter, receiver, and remote were fully assembled and in place, as well as the insert inside the wood case and the gas was connected, it was time to install the included batteries in the igniter, receiver, and remote. The igniter is the round knob on the bottom left, and the batteries are hidden beneath it. Remove the slider handle from the bottom of the fireplace and pull it straight out to install batteries, then remove the small cover underneath it - The four batteries are placed inside, after which the cover is replaced and the slider handle is attached. When programming the remote, make sure to follow the instructions carefully; the batteries should be installed in series, not parallel, in the receiver. br>br>Operation: br>br>Operation: br>br>Operation: After programming the receiver and remote, light the pilot and then use the remote to light the fireplace. We lit the fireplace, opened several windows throughout the house, ran a ceiling fan in the room where the fireplace is located, and placed a fan in a window close to the fireplace to carry the smell and excess heat outside, and then let it burn for several hours each day until the odor dissipated, then let it burn for several hours each day until the odor dissipated. We needed three days to complete the project. This is to be expected with a fireplace of this type.

Beautiful as well as useful
5/5

Bought to replace an old one that kept going out as the primary heat source for a small house (900 sq ft), excluding the additional bedroom (yes, I know this isn't recommended). Because there is no electricity where this heater was installed, it has been running on batteries exclusively since February 9th (it is now March 13th). The new one has a remote, which the old one lacked. Because there is no electricity nearby, there is no blower, but the living room and other rooms are adequately heated. The cabinet front just above the fireplace gets quite hot, which worries me, but since we keep the temperature at 70 degrees or lower, it doesn't stay hot for long before the fire goes out. On top of the cabinet is a beautiful clock; It doesn't get too hot on the top. This cabinet has a nice appearance and heavy pieces, so it appears to be well made and solid. The Chestnut Oak was a little darker than I had anticipated, but it was still quite attractive. I'm thrilled to have found something that fits in our small space, doesn't require electricity, and can be adjusted with a remote!.

BUT IT DOESN'T WORK BECAUSE IT'S BEAUTIFUL
3/5

UPDATE: AS OF 1/23/19, THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED. SERVICE WAS THE WORST I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! WARNING: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS! It's fantastic when it stays lit! It's also quite lovely. I'm going to enjoy it until it's no longer available. Thank goodness it's simple to light, but I don't want to be hanging upside down pressing buttons to relight it first thing in the morning. It's also nearly impossible to get service. They said it was a busy time for them, but since I'm one of their customers, I believe I should be able to speak with them about this issue. I believe there is a minor problem that could be resolved if they could contact me. So, if they finally reach out to me and we are able to resolve the issue, I will give it a 5 star rating, but only 2 stars for service and functionality. 3 stars. It is, however, a WORK OF ART!.

This unit has a great appearance and produces a lot of heat
5/5

I wasn't sure about this item at first; it looks great, but when I looked up more installation information on the seller's website, I discovered that it isn't guaranteed to work above 4500 feet, and I live at 7000 feet. After discussing the situation with the seller, I agreed to give it a shot, and it turned out to be a great success. Even without a fan, which is an option, it heats my 600-square-foot room very well. The instructions were straightforward, though there were a few details that were unclear. The metal L brackets in the furnace's bottom front, for example. The instructions said to take them out, but I wasn't sure if they were supposed to hold the furnace to the cabinet in place. As a result, I disabled them. In addition, the furnace front frame and cabinet hole appeared to be a perfect match in the website photos. That's not the case. So, should I put the furnace in from the front or from the back? I chose to slide it in from the front so that it would not be pushed back into the cabinet when the igniter was used. The flame is an additional minor note. The flames should be yellow, according to the website's images. This is a false statement. The flames should be blue with only a hint of yellow around the edges. If the flame is all yellow, there is a problem with combustion. Despite these minor flaws, the cabinet is well-made, simple to put together, and attractive. br>The only issue I had was with the odor. The heat-generated odor on the furnace parts and cabinet took three days to dissipate after three days of use. Keep your windows open until the smell has passed because it can be quite overwhelming. The unit works perfectly now that the smell is gone, and I'm very happy with it. This is a fantastic substitute for the $2-per-day rate. Models with vents cost $3,000.
