It's nice to have an electric fireplace, and I built one out of ledger stone. I think it's a great product, though I wish it had a fire sound.
It was purchased purely for the sake of appearances: Even if you don't build an insert for it, a faux fireplace looks great in a living room. br>I'm confident that I've achieved exactly what I was aiming for.
BUT. br>It could have been better, and the fix is relatively simple to implement.
1. Both flames and "decorations" are affected by the "brightness" mode. As a result, you can't just brighten the flames, and the bottom tray becomes extremely bright. Adding a separate dimming function would aid in this.
2. The BEST natural flames effects can be achieved with the bottom tray lights turned off, similar to the example above. I'm not sure how I got into "glitch" mode while using the remote, but the bottom tray lights went out for a few moments, leaving only the flame. The visuals are stunning at the time. I'm considering unplugging the bottom tray lighting strip and using natural crystal lighting only for the flames. I only wish the bottom tray could be turned off using the dimming control. However, because it can only control the flames and the bottom tray, it is limited. br>br>Apart from that, it's great. And, by the way, the manual includes a full wiring diagram. Hmm, I'll take that as permission to assist myself.
Excellent product! Before making my purchase, I read through all of the reviews and was pleased to see that they were up to date, demonstrating a large number of satisfied customers. This fireplace arrived in a flash and looks even better in person than it does on the website! It's a stunning, gleaming black, and wall mounting it was a breeze. I would have given 5 stars if the box had not been littered with crystals when I opened it. I believe the bag burst open during shipping, making it difficult to locate all of the contents. Aside from that, this fireplace is well worth the money! There are a variety of flame colors to choose from, as well as two heat settings, and it creates a soothing atmosphere in any room. The orange flame with yellow stones is one of my favorite colors (as shown). You won't be disappointed, I promise!.
My electric heater has become a source of obsession for me. It's very nice and warms up my room nicely. The lighting is fantastic.
It's simple to put together. It turned out to be quite lovely, and she looks even better in person.
Installation is simple and straightforward. I haven't used the heating feature yet because I was more interested in the appearance than in the functionality. I'd like to see a bluetooth feature added to this, as the remote's range isn't very useful.
Cons:
1. The heat output is insufficient, and it will take a long time to warm up a medium to large room or one with high ceilings.
2. I knew this going in, but it's still a bummer that there aren't any fake logs. I always find the crystal rocks amusing.
3. The internal screen backing is extremely delicate and easily damaged. When it's open, be careful not to touch it or permanent marks will appear.
4. While the lights and flames are well-designed, it would be nice to have the ability to adjust the flame size and height. I realize this is a tall order given the price tag, but I'll go ahead and ask.
5. The noise from the fans can be quite loud. br>6. The heat vents should be directional and run the length of the hardware. Advantages: br>br>
