Neither the seller nor the manufacturer are willing to help. We used the fireplace for the first time this week, and the burner only lights partially most of the time, filling our home with gas fumes. When we tested the unit, half of the butter spontaneously ignited, which is a dangerous situation, so we won't be able to use it. br>br>When I assumed it would work, it was questionably worth the price. So it's clearly not worth the money at this point. br>br>I've contacted the seller several times and have yet to receive a response. I contacted the manufacturer as well, but received no response. br>br>As a result, we are currently out of the money we spent on this fireplace. Worst of all, I built this wall and tile surround specifically for this tiny fireplace, so finding something that works and matches the size will be difficult.
It isn't equipped with a remote and isn't set up to work with one. It's also not built to be used as a wall thermostat. There is an internal thermostat on the unit. However, unless you want to use a blower, there is no need for electricity. It keeps the temperature in our living room at a comfortable level.
I'd purchase it again.
We had no trouble putting it together and connecting it, and we now use it on a regular basis.
We needed a new fireplace as soon as possible because the winter season had arrived earlier than expected. The order was placed on Friday, and it arrived the following Tuesday. Simple and quick It actually works!.
The fireplace could use a stronger fan to circulate the heat, but I love it. Also, the thermostat performs admirably.
It works fine, but it doesn't come with a front face frame, and because my fireplace is a little larger than the unit, there are gaps all around that need to be filled. It would be even better if the unit included a fan to help circulate the heat.
It looks lovely and keeps it warm, so I'm very pleased with it.
