I had hoped it would be just what I wanted. Durable and lightweight, it is ideal for outdoor use. A very high quality product that is free of It is also awesome because it fits securely so that no ash dust leaks out while being moved. The ) fits tightly. As I have not placed ash or hot embers in this container, I cannot say whether it is capable of sustaining such things. I am very pleased with the outcome.

As soon as the embers hit the paint, the paint is still offgassing. If your bucket is not galvanized, do yourself a favor and buy a galvanized one. With a brief break in between, I can get heat-resistant paint I had used on other metal fabricated fixtures that actually does its job even at high temperatures (up to 1800 F) - Using the fire pit, I can burn the lousy finish off, clean it up and recoat it with a proper coating after burning it off in the fire pit (large wood burning fire pit). The one I have now is not worth so much trouble, so I will just change it for a galvanized one! With the exception of any toxic gases it may release when hot embers are ignited, it does the job, but I don't like it.

I haven't had it long enough to rate its durability, but it seems to be quite sturdy and well made from what I have seen. The item that I won feels like a lucky break for me. My search for this information was matched by this site I've got a container that is generously sized, but not so large that I can't lift it when it's Besides an attractive appearance and a secure lid, it has a carry handle and a pocket for essentials As a bonus, it includes a handle for lifting the ashes from the fire pit, so it can be emptied easily. In addition to meeting all my needs, the bucket is very easy to empty the day after I use it, so I can drag the wood to the pit whenever I'm ready for the next fire. I found other ash buckets that were really small and you had to empty them repeatedly. The ash bucket we chose was the perfect fit.

I received my order quickly, the packaging was excellent, and no damage was reported. The ash from our wood stove accumulates throughout the week in it, and it is the perfect size. Our children used the shovel to dump it out and it fit well in a corner behind our wood stove. It is a good quality shovel that fits nicely in a pocket on the side. My search for this exact thing is over. Thank you very much.

My rating is based on The handle on the lid of the bucket I received today is broken. My favorite thing about the pail is its shape. Ash collection can be accomplished with the material, and this shovel appears to be well made. A lid that is not broken would be greatly appreciated, since I expect the seller to send one. In the event that I hear from the seller, my review will be updated. I have received a perfect lid after wonderful experiences with Customer Service! I am using the pail, lid, and shovel and they are all perfect! Considering my age, I will be able to use it for a very long time and highly recommend this product! I am 75 and it is just right weight to lift every day. Thanks for your kind words!.

The box was well packed and no damage was apparent. It fits, but it does not appear to be In the holder, the shovel fits very well. I only received it a few days ago, so I'm not sure how long it will last and look nice. In addition, we plan to use it outdoors at an area with a lot of rain, along an eastern side of the country. This purchase however, has been a great success so far.
