I am only rating it with 3 stars because one of the screens was scratched and had a slightly bent corner, AND the screen on it had a different finish than the screen on the other door - so that's why I only give it 3 stars - This applies to both closed and open glass doors. When the glass doors are open, this is very visible but when closed it is less noticeable. My intentions were only to keep the drafts down and make the doors look reasonably nice, and I will be keeping the glass doors closed, so I decided not to deal with the hassles of returning it and hoping I'll get a better one the next time. attractive and looks pretty in the room thanks to its oil rubbed bronze color. The screens did not match, so I would have given it five stars if there had not been damage.

In addition to installing, there are other tasks that require two people. Despite the video's depiction, it looks like it would have been easier if an extra set of hands were there. You really have to crawl in to attach it to the beam because the board is heavy and difficult to hold up alone. If the doors aren't taped closed, they will flop open when you get ready to pick it up. A lot of insulation fell out as well. It doesn't adequately mention a 2" lifter bar that they count in the height calculation. I was kind of disappointed with the sizing chart. Since there was no lift bar to use, I went with the small instead of the medium or we could have used the lift bar but then the clamps would have been too high, so it may be shorter than I intended I would have liked the medium to have been better!
Other than that, it's There is a lot more darkness in the pictures than appears on them. There are no additives or colors in this oil rubbed bronze. It is so much more stylish than pull string kinds of doors of the past! I think it has been one of my best purchases of all time.

In the fireplace store, they were asking 650 for a product that was almost identical to this one. decided to look online. I entered the model in and it came up on Amazon for half the price. Once I watched one video, I was able to install it with ease. It took about 25 minutes for it to be installed. We had a brand new fireplace created in no time by the stone guys who came in and stoned the area around it. This is perfect for us! A lot of care has gone into making it. It's true that they are the most expensive fireplace store sells them for twice the price, so the quality should be fine. Other than that, I don't know much more The fireplace is very nice and the price is a bargain compared to the fireplace store.

The description of the item explains that it is a good match. Although the sides of the walls are airtight, the mortar lines dip into the walls, allowing light and air to leak Materials that are flammable). Rather than doing what they do now, the width of the cutoff for their sizes should be another 2" wider. There is just too much of a chance that it might not fit. Our family loves the piece, both for how it looks and how sturdy the screen doors are. My chimney will not be rebuilt for another month by my masons, so I can't wait to use it.

The gift that I got for my mom for Christmas is this. The doors of her fireplace were broken years ago, so she was left with an open space. After checking with both my brother and her about our fireplace's dimensions, I had used the size chart that I found online from Pleasant Hearth. It surprised me to find out that the fireplace was actually a size Small according to the chart. My first reaction to this was nervousness. I was worried that it would be too big. The return of an item of this size would be near impossible. In my family's opinion, the door was very heavy and sturdy. As opposed to the warmer looking brown color in the picture, it is a darker brown in real life. Installed by my brother, and he said it fits perfectly and was easy to do - A half-hour or so is about how long it took him. There is no comparison to the old fireplace - it has been completely renovated It is very elegant, and now there are no drafts and other hazards when making a fire any longer. Thank you for your purchase! I am very satisfied.

Since this product is offered at such a steep price point, I had legitimate doubts that it would succeed. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Easily installed (though budget a little more than a half hour) - Quick to ship and easy to install - The most important thing is I love the way it looks. We are not sure if we would recommend it enough for 3x the price. I think it looks better than custom stuff.

We're happy and pleased it worked out for us, and yes, very happy we were able to fix the problem. Our different space and needs were not due to the manufacturer, it was just our way of doing things. My experience with these doors means that I have no experience with fireplaces at all, but they were easy to install in just a few hours. I appreciated how well they were packaged--they arrived promptly. The instructions were quite clear and there was no visible dent or scratch on the product. It took approximately a month for me to clean the screens with a soft brush and they were clean again. All I can say about these doors is that they are great.
