My husband and I bought this product for our 18 month old son to keep him away from the hot fireplace, and I wanted something that looked nice. If I had wanted a plain black or brown screen, I could have chosen that one, but I thought the peacock design looked nice. I really like it & the quality is great. I have no problems with it fitting into our fireplace. Moreover, the brick has also been armored using safety padding, as you can see in the picture.
