Questions & Answers

Does it apply to the GNBC36E model? Although 25660 is the part number listed in the manual, it contains both a thermocouple and a thermopile, which I only have one of at the moment. ?

It is written that way in the manual of the GNBC36. 30355 is the pilot number for electronic and is an "e" for electronic.

Do you think that it will work with a heatilator MCDC36E with a DS845 ignition module?

There is no substitute for ignitor 26541

Can only natural gas be used for this heatilator pilot assembly. In the article, propane is mentioned. Natural gas is my fuel of choice?

Natural gas is being used for this project. It seems that the propane assembly needs to be different.

What is the compatibility between this and the GNB36 ?

It does for natural gas, as indicated in the manual.

Selected User Reviews For Heatilator Pilot Assembly 25660 Natural Gas

This is perfect! I would recommend it as a replacement for my heatilator Easy to install, and I didn't even need to hire a tech to "Plug and play" is the best way to describe it
5/5

When your blower has power, then the control module should be just fine, and all that needs to be done is to replace the pilot assembly. You don't have to do much to set it This sentence is about a gas line, a control module, and a It is better to hire out or to spend up to $6,000 on a replacement unit (which is what I was quoted from several dealers installers). Make sure to keep your gas lines in good condition Keeping it a quarter turned on to light the pilot (you must turn the knob to "pilot" and push in and hit the "spark" button as many times as it takes to get the pilot lit I know it sounds hard, but honestly, it's not that difficult). We spent more time cleaning the glass and repainting the frame when compared to just replacing it. About an hour and a half was needed to accomplish it.

I don't have any complaints about the unit, but I still have a slight headache

You just need to make sure you get the right It is advisable to be careful when buying. Having ordered and installed this unit, I can test it. The one I received for LP actually came from them. My fireplace wouldn't stay lit after I placed its front glass back on. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. The troubleshooting I did for a long time led me to calling As soon as they saw the problem, they fixed it. The Pilot assembly I received was an LP orifice, rather than a natural gas orifice. Apart from that troublesome feature, the product works very well. You just need to make sure you get the right According to the technician who came to the house, the red mark is usually caused by Blue marks. This is the natural gas mark (as seen in the picture).

Taking it apart and putting it back together was very easy
5/5

It was exactly what I needed to get my fireplace up and running again. Doing it myself saved me at least $150. I found it easy to install, and I did.
