What kind of pellet meat smoker can this product be used on?

The answer to that question is uncertain. As a matter of fact, I am using it on a Webber kettle grill and it works great. To ensure that it stays on the surface, make sure the surface is clean before adhering it.

Does the gasket rope I use have to be 5/8” wide, if my channel is 5/8" wide?

Those are the metrics I believe are used.

I just bought this and I am really pleased with it After cutting the gasket to size, I used a package of Vermont gasket adhesive to replace the worn out door seal on my Vermont Castings Winterwarm fireplace insert. The gasket is perfect after being glued on. I had a simple job, but it was dirty. Protect your eyes, wear gloves, and wear a face mask Putting a mask on. It is highly recommended that you use a few clamps to hold the gasket in place along the top edge while setting it in the adhesive if you are replacing the gasket without removing the door.

Having a gasket leak in a wood stove is a big deal for us because we primarily heat our homes with them. Despite its rapid delivery, the product was able to deliver what it promised. I find the product to be uniformly sized, cut cleanly and holding up fine. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

The experiment did not last a week

The gasket was breaking into pieces before the glue could adhere when I applied it. My finger was broken and had to be reattached It ended up inside the stove thanks to the four inch strip on the bottom of the door. The stretchy gasket I purchased is not like any others I have purchased before. The kind that lasts through a couple of winters is the one I want to buy.

It was a good rope, but I wish there were more details about the sizing. According to the diameter of my current gasket, I chose the desired size but it still wasn't the right fit. An extremely frustrating experience. I don't have any complaints about the product. The rope is of good quality.
