I'm very pleased with this mantle. The heavy, solid, and heavyweight feel is worth the price. I spent a little more because I hoped this would last a while. The ember catcher isn't an aftermarket feature, but a nice addition. A con was that one of the legs was a bit shorter than the other, so the unit wobbled a lot. Because I did not want to dump burning wood on the grate, it has not been used and will be returned. The grate as a whole looks like a nice feature, but that is unfortunate. It would be nice if there were some quality assurance done prior to shipping that made sure the unit is stable.

Upon arrival, the packages were The tack weld on the box was broken upon unpacking. It will need to be welded by the husband. It was a simple fix, but it caused inconvenience. Normaly, I would return, however, I am in COVID A lockdown has taken place in 19 states.

The fireplace grate we received from this company is excellent. Unlike other products, it is solid, heavy-duty, and made from metal It is constructed in pieces. A log can be stacked easily on it, no matter how heavy. Investment that has proved very worthwhile.
