The canvas appears to be thick and high-quality. The carrier's carrying straps are stitched and riveted the entire length of the carrier. It's big enough to fit a lot of wood in it. I don't have to transport it very far, so weight isn't an issue. I can get through the night with one or two large loads. I was thinking about getting a wheeled cart, but I believe this is a better option. Because I've only used it a few times, I can't say for sure how long it'll last. I'm still using it if I haven't edited it to document its demise. I'm not sure what I dislike about it at this point.
Carrying a half cord of firewood into my house one armful at a time (temporarily) messed up my shoulder and neck, so I bought this carrier after being sore for a week. It's a well-made piece of work. heavy-duty, made duty product designed to keep weekend warriors from making stupid mistakes. Stitching is tight, the leather is thick, and the design is well-thought out. It also appears to be durable, despite the fact that I have only had it for a short time (and thus have not given it a rating). It has two sets of handles that can be carried high or low. It holds a good amount of firewood (I use split oak) and, best of all, it prevents me from injuring my shoulder and neck by lugging firewood around in an inefficient manner.
This is a well-made bag that is far superior to my previous wood carrier. You have to balance it, and getting enough wood in and closing the strap is difficult. I try to keep my trips to the wood pile to a minimum, so I'm always toting a load. The bag is flat and doesn't taper forward or backward, so you have to keep it balanced.
This carrier will be replacing one that was slightly less expensive but had worn out in several places after only a year of use. Above all, the size, material, and features of this wood carrier were exactly as described on the website. Additional information: The material is of exceptional quality, and the craftsmanship is superb. Metal rivets and precise stitching, combined with high-quality materials, indicate that this item will last far longer than its predecessor (of a different brand). The carrier's overall length and width make it easy to transport small or large pieces of wood (or anything else) using the carry handles or shoulder strap - They're both well-made. The side pocket on the carrier is generously sized and ideal for a pair of heavy gloves, as well as a couple of tools. Despite the fact that this item cost a little more than others we looked at online, it is unquestionably worth the extra money. This is a highly suggested product.
Heavyweight canvas material conforms to stacked logs for easy transport from wood pile to fireplace while remaining lightweight and unobtrusive. I would strongly suggest it.
It's extremely well-made and long-lasting. It looks good enough to put next to our fireplace in our log holder with logs in it. The open ends are convenient because they can accommodate any log size. A word of caution: It's big and easy to overfill, making it difficult to transport from the woodpile to the house.
This was purchased to replace a leather carrier that we had only used for a year. This one is a little bigger and appears to be more durable.
You can carry it on your shoulder or in a bag because it has two sets of long and short handles. I expected strong materials and quality workmanship, and that is exactly what I got, so it was a great buy.
