It has a plastic-like texture to it. To keep it from cracking, I oiled it on both sides right away. The rest of the building appears to be in good condition. The one that was sent to me is 18 inches long. 5 x 38. It still holds a reasonable amount of wood, as shown in the photos.

It should work well and last a long time, in my opinion. Although the seller claims that the trim and handles are made of leather, they are not; they are made of faux leather. Sellers in China appear to make false claims about their products being made of leather. I ordered a "leather" phone case, which turned out to be thin faux leather.

Bringing wood in every week was a 'family affair,' with everyone carrying small armloads. No more. My husband now lays this on the ground, stacks everything on top of it, and picks it up by the handles, carrying a large load in at a time. Each week, we make three trips inside to fill our large woodbin, but it used to take all four of us longer. We've had it for the entire winter and it's still going strong. This was a very happy purchase that I would recommend to others.

I purchased this three years ago and have used it extensively. I like the open ends because it allows me to load long wood pieces onto it with the ends sticking out. Instead of having the ends stiched to the frabric at their ends, which would eventually rip off, the straps wrap around from one side to the other continuously from one handle to the other under the wood. It's a good product that works well and appears to have a long life ahead of it.

I use this carrier several times per day and heat with wood. When I bring firewood into my house, it keeps the mess to a minimum. The material is lighter in weight than the descriptions suggest, but it appears to be strong and durable. The velcro on the handle doesn't appear to be of much use. When carrying wood, you don't need to velcro the handles together, and if you fill the carrier to the point where you have to use the velcro to keep the wood in, the weight of the wood will be too much for one person to lift. br>br>Overall, this is a very useful product that is well-built.

My wood pile is approximately 25-yards long. I needed something between a wheel barrel and carrying my hand 30 yards from the house, and this fit the bill perfectly. I can carry more pieces and do so more easily than if I carried them by hand, and I don't have to dig the wheelbarrow out of the shed. The material appears to be very strong and long-lasting. I've had it for a few weeks and am very pleased with it. I only wish I had purchased it sooner.

It's not the product's fault; it's built to last and will hold more wood than I can carry. This is most likely the problem because I only bring in four split pieces at a time; however, this will easily hold eight of my medium/large pieces. To help with size, I quarter split 12" logs and keep them 24" long; carrying a full load requires weight lifting. may be put to use.
