I agree that this is a necessary cost for stacking a dryer, but this set offers very little value. All you need are two metal hooks and some adhesive. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably go with the less expensive option that looks identical. Even so, it fits and functions perfectly. br>br>.
The parts that were listed in the photocopied instructions did not come with the product. In addition, the brackets were too long and had to be cut down to fit properly. I got the part number from the owner's manual for my washer and dryer. I wouldn't recommend this to someone looking for an exact fit without at least a few hand tools to make it fit properly.

It's a pain because it's only about $4 worth of parts or $40 worth of parts. Buy from a different vendor. br>br>.
This item claims to be a StackIt7x. It isn't the case. The bracket connecting the washer and dryer is excessively long. It isn't going to work the way it should. It was disappointing.
With only a few tools, installation takes about 20 minutes. What can you do when something is overpriced for what it is? I should've kept the stacking kit that came with the dryer when I bought it (it's included). The product was exactly as advertised and performed admirably. It's supposed to stack with my Electrolux set, but it doesn't. The length of the two silver metal brackets is excessive. I'm disappointed that I'll have to return it and begin again. If you're looking for the STACKIT7X, this is not the product for you.
The brackets are far too long, and the instructions called for pieces that weren't included. I'd like my money back, if possible.
