My son is three months old. It's not making any noise, so I'd return it for a replacement because yours is obviously broken; it could just need some WD40, but why should you have to take it apart? I'm trying to figure out how to wear it. A friend of ours has had hers for a long time. Theirs do not produce a clicking noise.
Thank you for selecting the Seville Classics, br>br>Hello, br>br>Thank you for selecting the Seville Classics, br>br> The fan must first be turned off and unplugged, which is a brief overview of how to clean our fans. It is not recommended that the fan be disassembled; instead, any dirt accumulated in the exhaust vents should be removed using a vacuum cleaner with narrow attachments or a brush attachment. You could also use a compressed air can; To remove any excess debris, it is recommended that you perform this procedure outside. There's no reason why you can't put the oscillator on its side because it has an off on control.

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so because this fan is prominently featured on sites such as thewirecutter. com. Despite reports that these die quickly, they admit they did not test for build quality. I decided to go for it because it sounded otherwise really good, and most of the time it's just a few people complaining about their bad luck. br>br>Anyway, I bought two of these a few months apart, and the first one died about a month after I bought the second one. The second one died after a month. Maybe it's just bad luck, or maybe it's something else entirely. more than likely These items were not designed to last more than a few months. br>br>Not only are they of poor quality, but the warranty service is also deplorable. They come with a one-year warranty (meh), but the only way to get help is to send them back to the manufacturer - it's all on your own dime! I was planning on doing that, but I can't seem to find a box large enough to ship even one of these, let alone two. To ship these things back, I'm going to have to buy a bunch of boxes for around $60 (plus whatever shipping costs are, which will probably be another $60). br>br>They're just garbage, and the company isn't doing anything to help with their broken product.
We bought this fan about 5 months ago and have only used it in my son's room. The motor burned out after only 5 months. It was still under warranty, but when I contacted Seville, they told me that I would have to mail it back to them at my expense, and that they would send me a new fan. The cost of returning it was almost as much as purchasing a new fan. This fan or purchasing from this company is not something I would recommend.
Pros:
- A LOT OF AIR IS MOVED BY THIS THING. Circulation is noticeable in an 8x14 room when set to 3/4.
- There are numerous choices available to you. There are four speeds, three modes, timers, and different widths of rotation. This has the ability to perform any task you desire.
- A comprehensive remote control. I didn't use it very often, but I'm sure people will appreciate the ability to control the fan completely from afar.
- It appears to be in good condition.
- It doesn't take up much space on the floor. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- br>br>As a fan, it will pick up anything floating through the air. br>br>Difficult to service. Dust, hair, and fur are all things that come to mind when I think of the word Everything will eventually end up in the blades/motor. On the back, there's a large grill that helps, but only slightly. This will have to be cleaned at some point. How do you go about doing this? br>br>How do you go about doing it? Simple: You are not one of them. Only clean the outside grill, according to the user manual, and use compressed air if necessary. It specifically states not to disassemble the fan, implying that anything that gets inside will stay until the motor grinds to a halt. Opening the fan requires breaking open a number of snaps, disconnecting the control panel, a very long and thin screwdriver, and more than an hour of your time. br>br>What this means is that this fan is running on borrowed time unless you put a lot of effort into keeping it clean. If you have pets or long hair, this is even more important. It lasted me just over two years, and I believe the majority of the damage occurred in the three months following my cat's arrival. In conclusion: br>br> br>Perfect for a dust/hair-free home or someone who can devote a significant amount of time to keeping it that way. Otherwise, it'll just be a band-aid.
Within the first few days, the small fan began to make noises (a high pitched "squeaky" noise). For the first 30 minutes after turning it on, the Big fan makes rattling noises. On these combo packs, Seville is usually a good choice. I'm not sure where this went wrong. I tried sending messages to Seville but received no response. I believe they are preoccupied with 'bigger fish to fry,' and have forgotten about the people who buy their products - a few words from me - that's one less thing to worry about.
Fan with a Tower Tower Fan for personal use. I'm really impressed with this fan; it produces a lot of air, even at medium speed, and it's a lot quieter than the other fans I've purchased. It came with a small fan, which I placed on my living room table and which fits perfectly and produces plenty of air. I couldn't believe I got two for the price of one. I'm going to order another one, the 40-inch one, because it blows more air higher in the room, has an energy-saving mode (eco), and three different modes that I've never heard of before: normal, sleeping, and natural wind. . . Wow. It effectively cools the whole room and is extremely dependable. The remote control has five functions, the most important of which are the speeds, the ability to make it oscillate, and the timer, as well as a triangle-shaped symbol that I don't know what it does yet, and the on/off switch.
So, I took it out of the package and reassembled it. It was simple enough to connect the main unit to the base. When I turned it on, the cylinder inside that spins to generate airflow appears to be only connected at the top, causing the bottom end to bang around loudly while spinning. I'm coming back.
What a letdown! I bought it in September and it didn't work until January. br>I was pleased with the appearance, footprint, and minimal (almost non-existent) maintenance requirements. (sound that is already present) But only for four months? It's ridiculous.
The last one we had had a thinner base with stand and it became all wobbly until it crashed, so this one is nice and sturdy. I was completely sold on this because it came with a second mini fan, which was included at no extra cost, and I now have one in the bathroom for those rushed days when I'm trying to get ready right out of the shower and the bathroom is a sauna. a fantastic plus! br>By the way, we bought the main one for soft noise while we sleep (although the air circulation is also nice), and it's just right, not too loud, but loud enough to drown out any distracting noise.
