This is a nice step up from the very inexpensive stand fans. In the living room, it looks very nice. The old fan was a cheap stand-up fan with a cross or x-shaped base and flimsy metal that bent far too easily. This new fan is primarily made of plastic, but it is sufficiently thick. I like how it doesn't take up as much room on the floor. It is tall enough, but you will not be able to raise it any higher if you require it. I don't. I purchased the Bluetooth edition. It's a fantastic app. The app controls all of the buttons. There is a sleep mode on this device. You can add multiple fans to the app as well. This is a great feature. As others have stated, it is on the quiet side, but it is also suitable for use in the living room while watching television. Although it is not the cheapest, it is also not the most expensive, I believe the value for money is excellent.

I made the purchase after reading all relevant reviews on 'noise levels,' believing there was a simple solution. It turned out that I was correct. br>br>It turned out that the buttons on my unit had become loose and vibrated quite a bit. I came up with the idea of putting thin felt between the buttons. Only the desired air movement was audible as a result of the experiment. When you pay a certain amount of money for a device that claims to be quiet, you should get what you paid for. This manufacturer would rise to the top if the simple solution of adding fire-retardant felt was implemented to ensure that the claims were met. Why hadn't they thought of this before?.

Wow! In comparison to my previous fan and the Taotronics fan, it looks nice and blows a lot of air. Bluetooth is a really cool technology. The only drawback I found was that mine rattled. It appears to be a BUILD issue, with the fan's frame not being properly screwed or glued together. The rattle stops when I lightly press down on the top of the fan. It rattles if I release my grip. I had a funny thought about tapping the fan's back. And then it stopped rattling, much to my surprise. It will rattle again after I turn it off for a few hours or if I move it. Either I got a bad one, or it's the same for everyone. Amazon was contacted and a replacement was requested ahead of time. If the replacement solves the problem, I'll change the rating to a 4. br>br>At this point, I'm only giving it a 3; if the rattling stops, I'll give it a 4. The final disadvantage for a 5 is that the oscillation angle is restricted. Imagine having your fingers and hand slammed together, then attempting to form a V with your index and middle fingers. Yes, it's about a 30-minute drive. It's a 45-degree angle. EDIT: br>br> The frame rattle is no longer present after receiving a replacement! I combined the two and it appears to be going up to a 4 rating. To add, I wish the oscillating angle was a little higher, but aside from that, this is a great fan. On the lowest setting, look for a frame rattle in your fan. You can also apply light pressure to the fan's top to hear if the noise changes.

The air is cold and does a good job of cooling down the area. I adore the fact that it's Bluetooth! I never seem to be able to find remote controls in this house, so having it right on my phone is extremely convenient! The assembly was the only thing that was a pain! It was extremely inconvenient and challenging to put together on my own. I think they could have just made it snap into the base, but that's a minor quibble because I love this fan and am so glad I bought it despite the lack of reviews when I first saw it!.

  I bought it refurbished, so I can't say if the problem I'm having is also present in newer models. It's a stylish fan that's also light and portable. It was simple to set up and operate the app that controls it. The issue I'm having is with the noise; when it oscillates and reaches either end of the spectrum, it emits a loud hum. The noise occurs even when the device is not oscillating. As a result, the only time you don't hear it is when it's moving. When it gets to either end going left or right in oscillating mode, you'll hear it about every 4 seconds. I always sleep with a fan on for both white noise and circulation, but I could only stand it for two nights before switching to a simple round stand-up fan in the other room. Now that I have it in my office, I don't hear it as much because there are other noises going on. I'm not sure if you can hear it in my video, but if it's otherwise quiet and you're trying to sleep, don't bother. It's as if the room is being run over by a train. br>br>However, the performance is outstanding. It's quite powerful, and even on the lowest setting, it produces a pleasant breeze. Even on level 1 (low), I had to move it further away today because it was becoming too much. It has a little as well. br>br> thing? It's a mystery to me. Anyway, it's a device that allows you to adjust the air flow (much like your car's vents). br>br>If it weren't for the hum, it would have gotten 5 stars and would have been well worth the money.

The product is horrible, and you have to tear the box open to get it out. You'll have a hard time returning it after tearing through the box to get it out. On carpet as well as hardwood, it wobbles. The brown color isn't as dark as it appears in the photo. It's a lot lighter than the previous one. This brand provided me with a heater, and I'm not sure why I ever chose them again. Because the company failed to provide a means to remove a panel for cleaning, the heater became clogged with dust. The same goes for this. What a colossal squandering of resources.
