Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
BEAT THE HEAT – If you don't have central air and your window air conditioners aren't doing a good job of moving air around your house or apartment, this stand up fan will help you feel cooler by creating excellent air flow. It has a built-in carry handle, oscillation, and a convenient remote control for when you don't want to get up to change the settings.
VERY QUIET – The fan, which has three speeds: H, M, and L, creates a powerful breeze, but even on H, you can hear the TV. If you need white noise to sleep, this fan is the perfect size to aim over a high bed and produces a soothing purr that drowns out bedroom noises, making it simple to fall asleep. The timer can be set to save energy starting at 0. 5 to 7. 5 hours.
FRESHER AIR – The built-in ionizer emits millions of negative ions into the air, which bind to positively charged ions such as dust, bacteria, pollen, smoke, and other allergens. The particles become heavier and fall to the ground once the bond has been formed. The air in the room becomes naturally fresher as negative ion levels rise.
Standing 42 inches tall, this is a true space saver. The sleek, vertical design of the 5" tall tower fan, with a small 13" x 13" footprint, optimizes floor space and allows you to place it in places where pedestal fans aren't allowed. The dorm, kitchen, living room, RV, and home office are all great places to put it.
GENERATIONS OF TRUST – Lasko has been manufacturing high-quality home goods for over a century. When it's hot and humid outside, Lasko Wind Curve tower fans are ETL Listed and come with our patented Blue Plug safety fuse technology, making them a safe choice for a refreshing fresh air breeze.

Questions & Answers

Ours arrived a few days ago. It's simple to put together, and it's light and portable. When I turned it on, the odor was overwhelming! What are our options for dealing with this situation?

Hello, I did my own research on the smell, particularly this ionizer fan. I discovered that using a fan with an ionizer in conjunction with proper ventilation works best. So, open a window in your room because that odor isn't going away any time soon.

When you adjust the speed or turn it on/off, do the buttons make a beeping sound?

There is no sound. However, I believe it is a clicking noise. There's nothing obnoxious or bothersome about it. It comes with a remote control that makes a faint clicking sound.

Is your electric bill going up as a result of it?

No, it does not result in an increase in the cost of electricity. It actually reduced my bill by $15 after only 20 days of use with the AC set to 76° F. You can change the timer's settings. rapid response time to your requirements I especially enjoy the Ion feature on my fan. The remote control comes in handy.

Two different designs are shown in the image. What's the difference? Straight down to the ground, or curved, with a narrow trunk at the bottom that appears flimsier. ?

It's a straight line all the way to the bottom. This item is extremely durable. br>You're most likely looking at a side view that appears narrow at the bottom, but the fan's truck is the same width from top to bottom.

This is a fantastic supporter
5/5

This item would not ship to California due to Prop 65 and the fact that it has an "Ion" button, but luckily for me, I was going to Arizona in a few days and had it shipped there. California, get out of here! br>It was a lot bigger than I expected; I have no concept of dimensions. However, it is extremely light weight, powerful, and extremely quiet. The remote control is extremely useful. This fan is fantastic! I wish there was a night mode to turn off the indicator lights, but that's easily fixed with a piece of black electrical tape.

Disclaimer: This is a good fan at a good price
5/5

This review is based on one day of use. I bought two fans to replace Holmes fans that started making a horrible noise when on osc mode after two years. I also noticed a chemical like plastic burning rubber smell when I ran it for a while. br>Since we've been in quarantine, we've been thinking about what we'll need, and one of them was to replace the fans. I like Lasko products, so I read the reviews here and saw that the vast majority of people were pleased with it, so I took a chance. br>I have one in our room and another in the children's room. It was amazing the first night I slept without being awakened throughout the night because I was hot. br>I recommend you buy the model with ION because it cools the air rather than simply moving the hot air. I loved it and asked my kids about it and they agreed that it felt great. I'm crossing my fingers that it continues to be that way. br>Also, it was very simple to put together with no tools required, and it came with minimal instructions. It comes highly recommended from me.

When it's turned on, it gives off a plastic smell
3/5

When it is turned on, it emits a plastic odor. I had hoped it would go away by now, but it hasn't. Very let down.

It's more of an air mover than a true cooling fan
3/5

When the box arrived, it was quite large, and I had no idea how big this tower would be until I took it out. My Vornado tower fan, which is eight years old, is rattling inside: (I chose this Lasko for its silver modern finish and Ion feature. ) So, based on its size, I assumed it would be a powerful weapon! Well. concerning the three different speeds Speed 1 is like having someone breathe on you, that's all there is to it, it's so weak. Speed 2- When you need something subtle, it blows a little louder, a quiet white noise. Speed 3- More air is moved, which is good white noise for me to drown out the morning birds, but it doesn't drown out my television volume, and it just doesn't compare to my old Vornado's speed 3 air flow. When it comes to cooling fans or air circulators, I'd put this in the air circulator category rather than the cooling fan category. My bedroom is the farthest stop for the a/c air, and I love a cool room (sleep is better for me), so I need something that suckers every cold molecule through it and chucks it into the 12x12 bedroom, as well as giving me a good solid wind on me while dressing or just watching tv. My bedroom is not cooler, nor does it feel "crisper" or "cleaner" after a full day of it on speed 3 in front of the vent. Another member of my family enjoys it, so I'll give it to them and look for something more suitable for me. I wish the majority of fans had some sort of strength indicator so you could see what kind of breeze you're getting at any given setting. During the summer, I would NEVER lower it below 3, so it's not a particularly good value for me. Aside from that, I really like the modern silver color that is available.

Fantastic supporter
5/5

This fan makes me extremely happy. I was planning on purchasing one of those round fans, but they are always so loud. I did some research on tower fans and decided to go with this one because it was one of the most popular. It takes up less space because it is vertically oriented. On setting 1, it's very quiet, and it's still quiet on setting 2, and I can't say I'm bothered by the sound on setting 3. When used in conjunction with an air conditioner, this device transforms your room into a refrigerator! It can be stationary or oscillate, and it's very simple to pick up and move. It's lightweight, with a handle-like lip on the back that's easy to grab and hold with one hand. br>br>I highly recommend this fan.

The chemical odor is unbearable
3/5

The fans appear to be in good working order, but there is a strong chemical odor. The stench was so bad that I had to turn off the fan.

It's a good thing you got the one with the remote control
3/5

I'm not sure if it was assembled incorrectly or if it was abused during shipping. br>Item arrived without any of the top controls working. br>Only a clicking sound can be heard from the power and oscillation buttons. (center and 6 o'clock positions)br>the ionization button is stuck down and won't move (12 o'clock)br>and the timer and fan speed buttons are stuck down and won't move (3 and 9 o'clock positions)br>br>at least it came with a remote. This fan would be useless if it didn't have it. All of the features work fine with it. br>br>On the plus side, no one other than me can change the fan settings unless I pull the plug. br>br>I haven't decided whether or not to return. The remote was the main reason for getting this fan to begin with, as it would be used 99% of the time instead of the unit controls. However, receiving the item in such a state is unacceptable.

It's not as effective as an air conditioner, but it's far superior to a standard tower fan
5/5

I'm used to Lasko's classic 'Wind Machine,' but after seeing that this model would improve overall air quality, I decided to give it a try when my old wind machine died after about ten years of faithful service. I was sceptical at first, but the "ionizer" does have an impact on the room's overall temperature. I forgot to turn it on yesterday, and I noticed a significant difference between yesterday and the day before when I had it turned on (the temperature was around 88 degrees yesterday, and 92 degrees the day before). It took 10 to 15 minutes after turning on the ionizer to notice a difference. When the ionizer is on, there is a distinct plastic/chemical odor, but it only became an issue for me when I turned off the oscillation and placed the ionizer about 5 feet away from me with the fan on.
