Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The grills on this unit, unfortunately, are not removable for safety reasons. Using compressed air and a dusting wand or pipe cleaner to clean the fans is recommended. Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The assembly of this unit is fairly straightforward. The base is made up of two halves that connect with a snap. Remove the locking nut from the tower's base, then pull the power cord through the base's center. Then, to secure the base to the fan, replace the locking nut. If you have any additional questions, please contact our customer service team by emailing [email protected]. com. Thank you very much.
It's been working well for me for a few months now.
That's an excellent query. There is no remote control included with this fan. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions or require assistance. In your Owner's Manual or on our website, you can find our email and phone number.
Selected User Reviews For Honeywell TurboTower Tower Fan, Black
The bottom fan, unlike other tower fans, does not have a base, so it blows at nearly ground level (photo shows the fan next to my old Lasko fan). This is primarily a problem if you intend to use it at night and have a bed that is larger than two. 5 feet above the ground (roughly the same size as the lower fan). The most significant issue I have with this item is that Amazon's price changes frequently. I paid $50 for the item, which then dropped to $35 after a week, and they refused to refund me. When I went to buy another, they immediately changed the price on me to $72 after I checked out and cancelled the item to change my payment method. Unless the price is under $40, I would not purchase this item. I'm going to return the first one I bought.
This dual oscillating tower fan is one of my favorites. I made my decision to buy it based on the previous reviews and videos. It's not completely silent, but it's not so loud that it's bothersome when played at full volume; it's sturdy, well-made, and simple to operate (see photos and video). I don't mind not having a remote control. Each fan has three speeds, is powerful, and has nice-sized buttons, so I feel safe using it with my elementary-aged children nearby. During these trying times, it arrived well packed and ahead of schedule. I'd suggest it.
It is not quiet, despite what the description claims.
This fan is great and powerful, a little noisy but it's powerful, very easy to assemble simply remove a plastic nut at the bottom, run your power cord through the plastic base, click the base in and tighten the nut back on simple, 3 fan speeds and an oscillating feature, the top of the fan can move up and down in a 90° angle, the power cord is fairly long good enough for half a medium size room side controls are easy and convenient.
I needed a second tower fan, and since I already had a Honeywell that I liked, I decided to get this one because it is supposed to be 2-in-1. I discovered a loose piece of plastic or metal inside the fan as I was removing it from its packaging. This makes me extremely unhappy. It exemplifies a lack of quality assurance. The activities of the fan appear to be unaffected. The assembly is simple. The fact that the top air circulating fan is independent of the bottom cooling fan is appealing to me. The top round air circulating fan, on the other hand, is insufficiently powerful to effectively move air. The bottom fan is nothing more than a fan. This fan doesn't have a remote control, and it doesn't look as nice as the Honeywell tower fan I have. It is extremely loud when the fan is set to its highest speed. I should've returned it, but the packaging was thrown away.
Cooling system that works well. I bought three more because I liked it so much. In comparison to other fans, I recommend this product. Some have remote controls, but I didn't have one, and I didn't need one anyway. When it comes to children and animals, you can rest assured that you're in good hands.
After one day, the feature that was loud and oscillating stopped working. Finding this fan was a huge thrill for me! Two fans in one is a dream come true. We live full-time in an RV and needed something with a small footprint and the ability to move air. The fan came in three pieces: the fan itself, as well as two separate halves of the base that must be snapped together before being attached to the fan's bottom with a threaded ring. The instructions are very simple, but if you need them, they are provided. On high, the lower fan produces a decent amount of air, whereas the top fan is much more powerful; we liked the airflow on this fan and the fact that we could angle the top fan upwards to create whole-room circulation. Everything was fine for about a day before the oscillating feature failed. A clicking noise could be heard, almost as if the mechanism's "teeth" weren't catching. The oscillating feature was turned off, then on again; it may or may not work again. Nothing seems to be in order. I tried removing and replacing the base twice, but it didn't work. We also discovered that once the fans were turned off, it was clear how loud they were. Although the top fan is significantly louder than the bottom, the combined noise of both fans is quite irritating. Having said that, we returned it and purchased a different fan from a different manufacturer. We're so happy we went! The new fan is just what I needed.
After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this fan, which turned out to be a bad decision. It doesn't cool the room, so I went out and bought another fan, which blows cool air and, more importantly, can be felt across a large living room. To cool off with this fan, you must stand directly in front of it. I think I'll try it in my bedroom, where I have an air conditioner, and see if it can rotate the air. But I got this fan for my living room so that all of my pets could stay cool while I was at work. Definitely a thumbs down.
