The low setting makes it almost impossible to tell if it is on or not. When set to the higher setting, it makes a somewhat unpleasant hum, and it doesn't move enough air to dry sweat from a An air fan operated by hand would be a better option for you. Vornado has not lived up to its name with this product. A very small amount of air is moved by it It feels like I have to sit at least a foot away from it for me to feel its warmth. It is similar in the sense that it is I can hear the fan spinning, I can hear the air circulating (which I know is normal with Vornados), and I can hear a little rattle that comes and goes. I think there is a defect in mine, which might mean it is defective. What do you know? There is a clip that I have- We have another desk fan that's a lot quieter and doesn't move as much air, but it does a heck of a lot more than this little one. The Vornado I saw on the show was nothing like the real thing, and this little guy is far from it!.

They are small and don't move a whole lot of air, however. While I do not think they would have very much use to actually cool a room, these are small enough to be put into cabinets or under desks where there is a bunch of electronics to keep the air circulating. This is why I think these are quite nice. They are quite nice if you are looking for a little air movement or even some white noise. However, if you are looking for something cooler to keep you cool when you are in a hot room, they make a larger version as well A better choice would be to do that.

While the on off switch on these Vornado fans is lame, I do like the fan itself. A fan like this one is perfect for a bedside table, but if you're like me, you'll probably want to turn it on and off more than once (it does not As you turn the switch, you must hold the fan with one hand while using your other hand to hold the switch, otherwise the fan may fall off. The knob would have been better if it had been twisted. While you're laying on your stomach and half asleep, this isn't that easy.

But it's a great fan in other respects.

The My Heat Heater sits right next to this product that I like very much. The fact that it does not look like a fan when not in use is a huge plus. My desk has a copy of it. So I knew I had to buy the V6 model when I found the need for a more compact, smaller fan. The fact that this model is available in a variety of vibrant colors was another appealing aspect. As a result, I ordered it in Blue Bliss, which turned out to be a perfect match with I was a little taken aback at how tiny this model really was, I expected it to be a bit It's so nice to have fans that are as sleek and attractive as Flippi fans. They can even be swiveled vertically, and I really like that. In addition, I loved the design and I also loved the way it was so quiet even on low. I am sorry, but that is the end of our love story. When the fan was on low, the air flow was barely noticeable. The sensation of the scream was not felt once I moved closer than a couple feet. intended to put it on a nightstand so that I could blow it across the bed when I went to The only surprise I had was the amount of noise it made on the "high" setting. There was a rushing sound and rattling noise. It was impossible for us to sleep with it running, so we're going back to bed. As for ours, I hope it was just defective, but based on the number of used ones being offered at a discount by Amazon Warehouse, I am suspecting that the V6 model may have a defect. The air flows much stronger through my much larger V8 and it does not rattle like this one does. All in all, although I loved the design and features of this model fan, I found the functionality to be significantly lacking for our needs. A V8 model with more air flow is highly recommended if you need to achieve maximum efficiency. It should be very quiet if you want it. You may be interested in this one on set on "low" if you plan to have it sitting on top of your desk blowing straight into your face. There will probably not be an issue with others having the same noisy rattle as us. My preference is to rely heavily on customer reviews when buying products, and I know that many others do too. Heat makes me sweat easily, and I'm highly sensitive to it. To use while applying my makeup, I bought this fan to sit on my vanity. My vanity is the perfect spot for this fan since its size makes it the perfect fit. I use it to do my face because its compact size allows me to do it without taking up much space, and it gives me just the right amount of air to keep me from sweating. I usually use the low setting, out of the two settings the high setting can be turned off if necessary. The fact that I stumbled upon this fan was wonderful.
