There is one in my basement that is probably 6 years old. It operated 24/7 until I purchased a replacement in June this year. I have retired the original fan to my smoking shed and it still works perfectly. Almost two months after it was delivered in June, the new fan has been running continuously since it was replaced by the previous one
You can use this with a standard electrical cord if you have one of those multiple outlets that have charging slots and electrical outlets. If you have such an outlet, use it with the electrical slots

Low and Medium settings, there is barely any air movement. On High, it does move some air, but not to the extent you'd expect, and certainly not to the 25 feet claims on the box. If you go beyond 5 feet, you hardly notice what's going on. Do not waste your money on this if you don't need it.
This is a very small fan, so the arrival time was pretty good. I would not complain, but I do wish I had looked closer at the dimensions since I ordered a fan identical to this one from Honeywell through Amazon, but larger and much more affordable! About ten dollars would have been saved. It would have cost me over $200 if I was to buy it directly from Walmart! We have learned our lesson!.
A fan that is on its last breath was replaced, and this one is a little smaller than the old one, so it fits better on the shelf. I also want to thank Amazon for getting the order to me this morning before the very very hot weather arrives this weekend

Hence, I needed a good desk fan, and I wanted to order it from Amazon so I could save some time. I want to buy a fan, but which one do I choose? Upon arriving to work, I see a fan from Honeywell and with that in mind, I test it out and it works well, but I don't The fan comes in the mail and is what I believe to be the same one I purchased from Amazon from Honeywell. In every way, it's exactly the same thing as when I opened it. Everything is the same, including the exact dimensions, the frame, the switch, and so on. Yet it doesn't move air very well. . . my fan I got in a package does not do this Even from only 1 and a half feet away, I have trouble blowing air across the top of my notebook laptop keyboard, which is all I wanted it for. It almost never works at all, and I have no clue whether it is a defective fan or something else. It's a real shame to be proven wrong on something I thought was 100% certain.
