In terms of the sleep timer, I haven't fiddled with its settings, but when I turn it on or off it doesn't make any sound. Allerdings, it has a bright LED light that flashes when it's on, but not enough to bother you. It is a good fan for the money as it makes a few more noise than my old one, but is smaller and has a remote which makes it a good fan for the price. This might be of use to you.
A blade grill measuring 21 inches long by 21 inches wide is approximately 55 inches tall when it is fully extended. The height can be adjusted. *br>There's only one company I buy from

As a result, I can't sleep in a quiet room and this fan keeps me from hearing anything other than the You're the best!.
When I first saw the fan, the blades seemed a little small to me. In the end, it turns out to be a really nice fan after a few days of using it. In fact, it's better than nice. The only time I keep it on the low setting is when my cat was threatening to jump off the bed if it was higher. Thanks for being such a great During the warm summer months, this will keep you cool and comfortable. It's really nice. These people are saying it's a bit noisy though. It's not particularly loud, but it sounds like a fan, so I wouldn't call it quiet. In my mind, that's what the whole thing is about. I'm going to sleep now. My ears are immediately out of joint when the fan is running. Also, when I am working from my home office, I have another downstairs that lulls me to sleep when I am taking my afternoon naps, or it makes for an amazing I like the remote control. It's simple, solid, and not a piece of cheap junk. A nice feature of this game is the batteries that come with it. Another thing that would be cool is if they put a few surprises in the box, like maybe some.
This fan is way above what I needed, if you can get past the terrible remote control (you have to be close to the fan to just manually turn it on/off most of the time). White noise while you sleep is almost too quiet, so you won't hear much noise during the night. A large amount of air is extracted by the fan as well. If I have anything left over after paying for one, I'll probably put one in another room of the house during the summer. The set up was simple, and even though I was concerned about the sturdiness of each individual piece, once it was put together and used, it was It doesn't matter how strong the tail is, if it can stand up to a two-year-old lab, it can stand up to just about anything if you're reasonable!.
Since I have several friends who are fans of Lasko products, it is not my first encounter with them. I have been pleased with their fan base up to now. As a first concern, the packaging and boxing of this fan might seem fine for pallet shipping to retail stores, but it feels unfriendly for direct shipment to individual individuals. Luckily, one of the clips on the front grill wasn't broken off, but it didn't seem to significantly impact the noise level or affect its structural integrity, so I'm okay with that. It was broken in the stem for the oscillation knob, but as it is a fixed directional use, I was able to superglue it back on. In my opinion, both broken issues are the result of how the parts were thrown into the box without any cushioning or padding inside. It wasn't an issue that impeded my intended use of the fan, though those are minor fixes. One aspect that I am progressively not happy with is the odor caused by the fan when it is in use. I smell nothing quite like burning oil, but I can tell that machine oil is present. In spite of the smell persisting after several hours of use, I am not able to detect overheating. The fan is still in the process of being replaced, so I'm still debating returning it. Apart from these comments, I would say the fan speed is powerful and the noise level is within what one would expect from such a strong current of wind. It is also handy to have a remote control. The following is updated throughout the year
12-12-2012 I am 19 years old. Having an issue with the smell from the motor, I decided to take the fan back and get another.
Here is the item page for model 1885 (you can find several models here). Remember, you can only use the remote when you point it at the fan's front. It's become second nature to me to use remotes that work through walls, like some that have their own radio link (not Wi-Fi). Originally, I thought this would work the same way i. e. , I could put the fan upstairs and control it from the bottom. The reason the remote isn't useful to me is that I will have to go upstairs in order to control the fan, and once I'm there, I'll be within 6 feet of it anyways, so I can't use it. My manual version could have saved me $11 if I had bought it. My mistake, as I probably would have noticed that it's an IR remote and not a wireless one if I had read more reviews. Edit
Also forgot to mention that this cannot be turned on/off with a smart plug since the on/off switch is momentary contact. Once it has been turned off, it can only be turned on manually or via a remote control. A model with 3 speed settings and remote (referencing this model I don't have any idea about singles Model with a manual transmission). I am having a hard time finding appliances and furniture Using devices with an outdated operating system They hardwired switches into the walls. There are also some wobbles in the fan when it runs. It may be normal, but I have a table fan and two ceiling fans, and they all run noticeably smoother at their highest speeds. There seem to be a few things that need to be balanced better. (Although it's no deal breaker for me).
There is no better way to control the house than with a remote control. With this Lasko fan, a larger area is covered than with older fans. In addition, I can tilt the fan back so it does not directly strike anyone. The fan is very good and I would recommend it.
Since I've had this fan for over a month I haven't experienced any issues. It moves a lot of air at low speed in a bedroom, and I haven't encountered any issues. This is not an issue when it comes to fan noise. I have another Lasko fan exactly like this one (18" blade) that I have had for a decade and I still use it in my office.
I also have a desk fan (12") that has been in use for 7 years, so I bought One more thing I do, once a year I take off the front grill to clean the dust and dirt off the blades. This really makes a difference in the airflow.
