The amount of ozone it releases is so low that I can't imagine it causing an issue.
There is a limit to how long it will run. If you want to run it longer, you have to reset it.
There should be an air space, but it should be small. I won't be able to clean the entire house with this. It is designed to fit in small spaces.

Update Originally, I gave it 5 stars. Due to the fact that it started producing less ozone after 2 weeks of use, I deducted one star. There was once a time when it was like that. It only takes five minutes to smell good concentration in the room after it has been turned on. 5 minutes later, I can start smelling it a little bit.
