Yes, you can run without ever using the ozone generator. My HEPA filter is set to turn on automatically every day, but I only use my ozone generator once or twice a week to refresh the air. I must remember to turn off the ozone after each use, or the HEPA will turn it on automatically. I set my ozone timer for 4 hours and my HEPA timer for 8 hours, but I can set them for any amount of time I want. I've only had my unit for about 6 months, but I'm very happy with it so far.
I'm not sure if it cleans the specified square footage effectively, but I have it in a large open room and it seems to work well.
The ozone levels can be adjusted by pressing a button on the machine's right side. I prefer to have the ozone on, usually at the lowest level. The ozone leaves a pleasant odor and reduces dust, pollen, and other allergens. It works well in my 900-square-foot home, and I run it for about 14 hours each day.
Choose the shortest three-prong extension cord you can find. There is no risk- This device does not consume a lot of power.

My Ivation Ozone Generator, Air Purifier, and Ionizer have all been replaced by this machine. There is no 5-stage filtration in this deodorizer. My filtration system was in desperate need of an upgrade. First and foremost, this machine is significantly larger (12. 5" x 11" x 15"), which is larger than the one I had (9. 8” x 8. Size: 9" x 12" 8"). I just assumed it would be the same size for whatever reason, so keep that in mind if you have a limited amount of space. BR>BR>FIRST IMPRESSIONS: BR>BR>FIRST IMPRESSIONS: BR>BR>FIRST IMPRESSIONS: br>br>It only took a few minutes to put it together. It's as simple as unwrapping the ceramic plates and unpacking it. The filter media is then removed (one screw is located on the top portion of the device's back). The filter media can be easily removed, and the three ceramic filters can then be installed. You won't have to fiddle with the UV bulb because it's already installed. br>br>After connecting the power cord and activating the ON switch (located in the lower right corner on the back), you must first set the clock (instructions are included in the manual). In addition, the remote control will require two AAA batteries (not included). The unit was extremely loud! br>br>That was the first thing I noticed! Other reviewers had mentioned this problem, but I didn't think it would be a problem for me because I enjoy white noise. Wrong! To give you an idea, the highest fan setting on my old Ivation air purifier would be quieter than the LOWEST fan setting on this machine! This machine is in our bedroom, and it belongs to my wife and me. To hear the movie, we had to turn the fan to medium and turn up the volume on the television by half. That's how loud it is! It appears to perform exceptionally well in terms of air cleaning. br>br> We noticed a significant difference in just a few hours, and we love that it has a UV light for improved filtration and germ protection. killing. When it came to the volume of air being cleaned and moved around, my previous unit was quieter and more powerful. I suppose the air output is reduced as a result of the larger machine and the additional filters the air must pass through. br>Please note that a replacement UV lamp for this air purifier is nearly impossible to come by! I've been looking for a month and haven't found anything. When I contacted the manufacturer, all they said was that the product was "not available. " " If you're buying it primarily for the UV lamp, make sure you can find a replacement bulb because it's unique to this unit and won't work with other standard UV bulbs. br>There was a problem with the unit shutting off on its own even when the timer function was turned off. When I contacted the seller, I received EXCELLENT customer service. I was able to exchange my unit for a newer one, which is significantly quieter than the previous one. Maybe the fan on the one I got had a flaw when I first got it? I just wanted to let people know that their machine might not be as loud as the one I got. I still think this is a great air purifier and would recommend it, as well as the excellent customer service, but replacement UV bulbs are not currently available to my knowledge.
I usually enjoy these machines, but this particular manufacturer isn't up to par. Before the power card blew, the machine ran perfectly for about six months. I contacted the company, and they promised to send me a new machine; however, I had to re-install it about two months later. They should be contacted because the new machine has yet to arrive. It finally arrived and worked for about four months before repeating the process. It turns on for about five minutes before turning off. The warranty period has come to an end. For nearly 20 years, I've been using these machines. My first relationship lasted for about ten years. The next five years are crucial. Because my wife suffers from severe asthma, my third is still running in the master bedroom. This one, which was in the family room, will only stay on for five minutes in any setting.

I GOT THE SECOND TO GET RID OF THE FUNNY SMELLS OF OLD BOOKS IN MY LIBRARY ROOM. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY! FOR MY EXERCISE ROOM, I GOT MY THIRD. THANK YOU TO AMAZON FOR SELLING THE UV LIGHT AND THE FILTERS FOR IT. I KNOW THE FILTERS DO NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED. WE CAN WASH THE PLATES, BUT I REALLY WANTED THE WHITE FILTER AFTER HAVING MY FIRST ONE. THIS IS THE BEST BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE FILTERS ON A MONTHLY BASIS! I ONLY USE THE UV LIGHT AND A FAN, NOT THE OZONE.
For a month and a half, the purifier/ozone machine performed admirably. When I tried to turn it on one day, the ozone part was completely broken. I cleaned it, replaced the filters, fused it, and replaced the ozone plates-- Nothing has been successful in resolving the issue. br>br>Unfortunately, I missed the return deadline by two weeks, so I'm stuck with a $150 fan and no way to replace it. br>br>If you don't plan on replacing it after a month or so, don't buy one. Even if you buy an extended warranty from Amazon, if you have to ship it back every few months, it's probably not worth it.
This small box performs numerous tasks. The filter is a basic HEPA filter. When I was doing some house repairs and generated a lot of dust, I discovered that the filter was bypassed. I've used an ozone generator before, and it takes a couple of hours to do a whole house. My car is parked in front of the air intake for my HVAC system, and the fan is turned on. There are probably better filters on the market, but for the price and small size, this is a good option. If you're going to use the ozone feature, make sure you leave the house. It kills mold and fungus, but it's not healthy to breathe while it's doing so, and it takes about an hour to get back to normal air. This takes care of everything! In our bedroom, I keep it running all the time. Even at its smallest setting, the motor is quite powerful. Hepa, ions, and UV light are all present. It also has an ozone setting, which I like. I have Lyme disease and a high level of mycotoxins, and I'm hoping that the ozone will help. This air purifier has exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it to anyone.
The unit is attractive and functional, but the timer/clock function is difficult to use and designed poorly.
