Hello, my name is Richard and I'm the product manager for this company. That is an excellent question! There are no filters on this unit (I mention this because we do have models with HEPA/Carbon filters). The ozone plate only needs to be replaced once every one to two years. Two years, depending on how much you use it. We recommend that you clean them every few months. When you notice a burnt spot on the ozone plate, or if the plate is cracked, or if you can't smell the ozone anymore, it's time to replace it.
Yes. Set it to high purify for at least an hour, then air out the car. DO NOT REMAIN IN THE CAR WHILE IT IS ON HIGH AND CLOSED. Without proper ventilation, too much pure ozone can be harmful to your health and even make you sick. This machine can sanitize three times when the purifier is set to high. DO NOT LEAVE ANY LIVING THINGS, INCLUDING PEOPLE AND PETS, IN THE 500 SQ FT AREA. Plants are something I'm not sure about. br>br>A portable purifier called "Voyager" is also available on Amazon for the car or a single room.
There are two knobs available to you. One is for the fan, and the other is for the ozone generator. They exist in their own world. If you only want to run fan, that's fine.

I've also bought expensive units from a multi-level marketing company (Alpine Industries) and found them to be extremely useful in my home. This Mammoth unit is just as good as any of the more expensive models, and it's a fraction of the price. This is our second Mammoth unit, as we gave our first one to our daughter, who has been using it for three years. I'm talking nonstop! It has never failed us, and now, with four cats and two litter boxes, it is cleaning her small apartment and providing her with fresh air! People who came to see her were unaware that she had pets until they went out to meet them. This is our second Mammoth, and we really missed it between the time we gave our previous one to our daughter and the arrival of this one! Thank you, Amazon, for your prompt service! We highly recommend this product!br>On a side note, I recommend cleaning the plates monthly and blowing out the unit with compressed air. A drop or two of machine oil on the motor bearings will also extend the life of your unit!.
Pure ozone is beneficial, but only when used in small quantities. So turn it off until you're ready to sanitize, and keep pets out of the room until you're done and it's completely dry.
For a few days, Ozone worked fine, except that it couldn't be pushed throughout due to fan velocity. Since 30 minutes after opening, I've tried to contact you using the phone number on the box. I've attempted to send emails several times now that ozone is no longer functioning. I've worked with these machines for years and am extremely dissatisfied. I guess I'll look into returning the order through Amazon if that's an option.

The fan would stop working after 3 weeks of using the ozone generator. So it was returned to its original position. br>br>After that, I purchased the Mammoth brand, which was far superior. This unit has a higher CFM output than the first, and while it is not a SpingAir, it is also not $300.
