The Ionic Pro is in 3 other rooms in my house, so I wanted a smaller version for my bedroom. Unfortunately, I didn't know Ionic Pro made one, and ended up buying the Oion Technologies Pro Ionizer, which offered great reviews but was actually a disaster. There is no function to generate much ozone, it is primarily a decorative nightlight. If you were to pull out the collection plate every couple of months to clean it, you would be good to go. The air is already clean, meaning it does not pick up any unhealthy air particles. After failing to find a similar one, I looked for another and came across this special find. Because the grills of his big brother work so well, and so does this one, too, I clean them twice a week. Since the collection plate is smaller, it is removed from the top, not from the sides. My bedroom was so dusty that I didn't even notice or appreciate it until I moved my furniture for the nth time. It was always miserable for me to wake up sneezing every day and to have to work out constantly because I was constantly out However, I decided to purchase it anyway and test it out myself in spite of the reviews I saw online. Two months have passed since I purchased my computer and I'm thrilled with it. In the first few weeks, I did not notice any changes, and wondered whether it was working or not. Only after a month of using the purifier did I notice I wasn't sneezing in the morning and that I felt perfectly fine exercising. As of now, I keep it on high 24/7 and it is the best purifier that I have tried so far. It is the quiet nature of the purchase which makes it so enjoyable. While there were times when I thought my room would burn (sometimes I thought it smelled like something burning in there), eventually the smell went away along with the dust and pollutants.
