With the units in our house, my family and I have experienced far fewer colds during the year, as well as far fewer nasal and throat problems. Just by eliminating the need to go to the doctor for antibiotics, the units have more than paid for themselves. Illnesses don't cause down time, and we don't have to deal with it. It only takes about a year or so of continuous use to need to replace the bulbs in the units.
