Taking a look at the manufacturer's website, they recommend changing the filter once a year. It is stated directly in the owner's manual that Aprilaire recommends changing the media every year.
Filter tracks hold the cabinet in place and provide easy access to the filter You must keep yourself from collapsing. These filters and cabinets have been used on my farm for years and are well worth the investment. Their services are of the highest quality.
We had one installed by a heating and air conditioning technician. When I ordered the whole unit instead of just the inside filter, I mistakenly thought I needed the whole Replacement of the filter costs approximately $40 per year

This was installed by me. If you have to handle sheet metal, Kevlar gloves will save your hands from being shredded. Besides the shears drill attachment, I also bought a masonry drill attachment to speed up the process. It will also be very helpful to have bending tools. There is no doubt that this air filter is top quality, and after it has been running for a few hours, you can feel the difference in the air.
Before purchasing this, make sure you can control your thermostat without having to turn it After installing it at my mother's house, I'll do the same thing at my own home.
The new filter was installed in place of a basket filter in an older furnace. All you had to do was screw everything together to install.
