A 4x8 foot carpet will start out about 4" wide, then stretch to about 8 feet wide. What could have possibly worked better than industrial strength rubber bands! We tried everything, and rubber bands worked better than any other!
Yes, I agree! Including metal legs, the Couch Clamp was designed for use with any material leg!
There are four bands included with each Couch Clamp package, which can be used on four legs at a time. The bands will provide plenty of connective strength where placed. I appreciate your interest in our company. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Rubber bands have a tendency to wear out very quickly and stretch, so using these on furniture feet is not a good idea (in my humble opinion). It will be necessary to reinstall each of the rubber bands when you lift the couches to vacuum the floor. In addition, the constant pressure can cause the footrests (many of which are simply screwed into the couch's base) to wear out. In my opinion, my solution is as follows To the bottom of my sectional, I adhered small circles of rubber mesh (also found on Amazon). No separation of pieces is evident in the 3 piece sectional, which is completely stable in place. This way, none of my couch feet will be damaged by "drift. " It's easier not to have to replace the rubber bands every time I lift up my.
A minor update The 19th of March 2017 has passed. Seller asked for photos, so I added them. A minor update The March 20th, 2017 deadline has passed. A couple of stars are being added I stand by my comments about the bands becoming brittle and breaking, but I gave the company an increased rating due to its excellent customer service. The customer support team refunded my purchase price after learning about my issue with the product and asked for detailed information on how the product could be improved. I urge you to consider this product - it is a great fit for your needs. You might be able to use it The company will stand behind its product either by replacing it or issuing a refund if it does not.
I have updated! I hope you will read! The rating for this item has been updated to 3 stars from 1 star. Due to the review below, I gave these a one-star rating at first. In response to my Amazon review, the supplier immediately contacted me and asked me what the problem was, refunded my original purchase price and offered to send me a new set of I hope that the next set lasts longer, and customer service is certainly something to praise! Because a company that makes a poor product would not provide free replacements, I have high hopes that they will. This was probably just a set with a bug. Please accept my sincere thanks. This is what I received from the IRS For my outdoor sectional, I put them on the legs to keep it level. During the first three months, they worked fine, but by early August they became weak and crumbled. This is a poor quality product and I would not purchase it again.
Even though I was unsure about the functionality of these options with a seven piece sectional, I decided to give them a try before I tried any other alternatives that would require Having lived in a house with carpet, I didn't think it would be an issue, but now we're moving to a house with wood floors, so just lying on the couch can lead to falling in between the The thought of waking up to that would be horrible, especially during the night. four of these and secured my couch as many ways as I could (it's awkward getting into tight spaces when these bands are tight, and trying to reach behind the couch without seeing what you are doing isn't ideal, but you only have to do it once, hopefully. After they were first installed, one band slipped off the day after they were installed. I have not had any problems since then). The things you get here are amazing! There is no way to separate sections of the couch so that I can sleep all night there if I want to. When pressure is applied, there may be a little give in the band that will make a slight gap, but the sections will push right back together and the band will hold. Even the occasional little gap does not bother me because I keep a blanket covering my sectional. These bands should fit most legs, although tapered legs may be an issue that would prevent the bands from sticking. My couch has identical legs as the couch shown in the picture, but these bands should work on most legs. My opinion of them is that they are wonderful.
It only took me a few minutes to put these in. We started using them to hold the sections together, but it is still too soon to tell if they are durable. A couple of impressions of their use so far. First, they have a problem with consistency of elastic. There were some of them that were easy to put on, but there were others that were difficult to put on because they felt stretched to the Including a claim that the technology is virtually invisible once installed is the most ludicrous part of the product description. There's no point to this at all. A pair of these bands/clamps stands out like a sore thumb, and they can I have updated The elasticity dramatically decreases over time and they become nearly useless after a year of use. I am reducing my rating to 1 star after having these for a year.
Those who say this are correct. I could not even wrap it around both legs because the rubber bands were so tight. My first thought was, "hey, maybe it will still work if I put one rubber band on each leg and attach the velcro to both legs. ". The rubber band slipped off one of the legs before I was even able to wrap velcro around it. My next thought was, I might not need the rubber bands after all. The Velcro was too loose, so I tightened it up and it also fell It is a waste of money to buy this product.
As long as you line up your center sectional piece's feet with the feet of the connecting pieces, these work great. Not only can you see the connections, but they don't look unsightly either. The feet of my couch are tapered, so these bands do slip off, but not very fast. My sectional has a chaise on one side, so the "foot" of the chaise does not line up with the foot of the center section, just like in the picture. A liner cut to fit under each of the feet on the bottom pair of corners really helps this product stay in place, and it is very rarely moved if it is used with this product.
