Approximately 10 3/8" deep on the top shelf and 13 3/4" deep on the lower two shelves, the Sauder 421116 Clifford Place Library Hutch measures approximately 10 3/8" deep. Approximately 28 1/2" wide are each of the shelves.

In addition to the Sauder cabinet, we bought this hutch. We've had our cabinet for about 6 months, so we decided to buy the matching hutch to put some shelving on it. Thanks to the clear directions, it was very straightforward to put together. As a side note, when you attach the hutch to the Sauder/matching cabinet, you will need to use a drill to attach the hutch and cabinet tops had to detach the cabinet top as well since we already had the cabinet built. He said it was A Phillips head screwdriver is all you need besides that. If needed, the instructions also recommended using a hammer to tap in some of the pieces, but I did not need to do so. With less than an hour to spare, the hub was assembled and connected to the cabinet. The hutch should be lifted and positioned at the cabinet by two people (two people may be required). There is a sturdy feel to it, and it is of high quality. With the matching cabinet, it looks very good. The purchase of this product has been a great experience.
The kit is easy to put together and is good. It holds a bunch of textbooks even though it's fiberboard, and so far it seems to be very durable. Buying it again is a good choice for me. I would like to point out one thing The adjustable shelf can only move about an inch either way, so keep that in mind if you plan on adjusting it. I didn't want to leave you without mentioning this as it's not a deal breaker for me.
I bought this to keep things in a small guest bedroom that also serves as my office. It has a huge amount of storage while remaining small in You've done a great job here. A drawer can be used as a wardrobe drawer or a filing cabinet drawer. I did not like the fact that it took my husband 6 hours to do it His skills are very handy, so it took him only 7 hours to assemble. When one of the parts on a file hanger cracked during assembly, he called the manufacturer, and a replacement was sent.
I can mount my electronic equipment with rock solid stability.
