This is a very comfortable chair for Big Guy and BBW. It became separated after about three months when the welded part of the chair base that connects the wheels went missing. I contacted Hon customer service, and they told me that this was "normal wear and tear" and it would be charged $60. I would like to purchase a replacement base for $90. In their warranty program, casters are covered for at least five years, but they'll probably be quick to consider manufacturing errors to be part of "normal wear and tear".
